ATTENTION CITIZENS The Rochelle Police Department will be helping a needy family this year during the Thanksgiving Holiday. We are requesting that the public help us by donating food items so the family will be able to have a nice dinner on the holiday. The items we are asking for are as follows: Can Food: Vegetables, Soups, Fruits, and Others Box Food: Mashed Potatoes, Macaroni and Cheese Rice, Cereal, Etc. Bag Food: Rice, Sugar, Flour, Cornbread Mix, Etc. **(The Police Department will provide the Turkey and refrigerated items.)** If you would like to donate any food items, please bring them by the Rochelle Police Department Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, or give them to an officer you see working. I would greatly appreciate your helping us make a family happy on Thanksgiving Day.
