COS BAR The Cos Bar cosmetic stores have been designed with simplicity and balance in mind to convey a light, airy, calming, luxurious environment reflecting the legacy and sophistication of the Cos Bar brand. Carefully curated materials such as glazed brick, diffused light, glass, and marble allow the beautifully packaged cosmetic products to be highlighted within the store. This proposed renovation of the brand environment was developed as a “kit of parts� package for Cos Bar to implement as they expand their retail locations. HILLSDALE SHOPPING CENTER The strategy for Hillsdale Shopping Center food court renovation was to divide an open plan environment into a number of “districts� to develop a vibrant, enriched, bold, marketplace experience. This design provides a variety of environments that accommodate the wide demographic utilizing this space providing opportunities for connection, social engagement, lounging, and dining. TAMPA WATERFRONT REVITALIZATION In effort to elevate the Channelside district experience in Tampa Florida we developed a strategy to activate an existing pedestrian path along the waterfront of the district that acts as a connection between two main access points to the district. Zones were identified and developed to promote activity, wellness, and social connection along the existing waterfront infrastructure with the intention of permanently strengthening to vibrance of the district. NEW YORK ISLANDERS // PLAYERS LOUNGE New York Islanders players lounge renovation was a fast pace collaborative process in partnership with the Stantec New York office design team for installation. The environment strategically designed to reflect a high end hospitality experience while emphasizing the comfort of furniture and practicality of finishes for the players. The space is intended to feel cozy, intimate, and lounge-like offering ample comfortable seating, dining areas, and catered kitchen self-service counters. VITA MULTI-FAMILY An age qualified multi-family geared towards woman age 55+ with an independent, active, and sensible lifestyle. The interiors are designed to be feminine and sophisticated yet relaxed and practical. Soft ample lighting adds a gracious elegant quality to the space with the addition of layered tactile materials, artwork, and thoughtful accessories that creates a lived-in, approachable environment for the residents. RYE SOCIETY Rye Society is a sandwich shop in the RiNo neighborhood of Denver Colorado. With little square footage the design approach was intentionally minimal and light to maximize the perception of space. A heavily white palette is thoughtfully adorned with sophisticated materials including marble, bronze, and reclaimed wood. GLEAM CAR WASH An eco-friendly car wash in Denver, Colorado provided an amazing opportunity to re-define the car wash experience. The vibrant, unique lounge offers a variety of seating areas as well as a cafe. All signage and graphics provided by the Stance graphic design team. HGTV // KNOXVILLE PARADE OF HOMES Designed to showcase HGTV Home furniture and finish collections featuring their lighting, paint, wall covering, furniture, and decorative rug lines. The home was designed to cohesively embody a number of collections and styles from contemporary to more traditional pieces. The scope of this project includes developing the concept per room, create specifications, manage install, procure styling accessories for the home, and my presence during the Parade of Homes to answer any brand related questions. ALLISON’S KITCHEN // INTERIOR DESIGN CAPSTONE In collaboration with two interior designers in the class of 2013, Allison’s kitchen was established as a component of a proposed organization called “Strive” developed to strategically integrate a rehabilitation program into a segregated district of Over the Rhine in Cincinnati, Ohio (OTR). Allison’s kitchen restaurant is the final step of a three part program of Strive to provide education and career experience to the chronically unemployed population of the neighborhood. The site is proposed to be positioned in a central location on a heavily trafficked street, gentrified street within OTR to provide opportunities for interaction and unification of the segregated populations within the district.
