Women’s Transitional Housing Center
STRIVE
In the initial schematic design, the Strive program utilized the Color company Building, the courtyard, and adjacent building. The program was separated into four main components: a street level restaurant, Strive’s center for job training, and a transitional housing center for homeless women.

Casa: street level Restaurant
Throughout the schematic design, the restaurant was a gourmet Mexican restaurant. The remaining loors used color to incorporate the previous function of the Color Company Building. The courtyard served as a connection point between the transitional housing center and the Strive program with the hope to maximize interaction between the diferent social groups in Over-the-Rhine. 75
