Film Festival Poster
For this project GCU’S Digital Film department had commissioned our class todesign movie posters for their nominated student films. This project was broken into teams between two graphic designers. Our team was assigned a short science-fiction thriller called “Inline.” When designing the poster, I took inspiration from the film’s environment and sense of suspense that was established in the film.
TRADE SHOW PRESENTATION
Sam’s Sweet Chili Sauce
The tradeshow booth is dedicated to Sam’s Sweet Chili Sauce Co. for the National Grocers Association (NGA) conference. The objective for this project was to create a trade show booth design and collateral featuring the brand’s redesign and launch of its unique chili sauce flavors.
MAGAZINE ADVERTISEMENT
Creative Typography
The objective of this assignment was to choose a client and develop a magazine ad using traditional materials for their brand. For my client, I chose Sprouts AllNatural Grocer. By choosing this brand, my intention was to create a bright and vibrant poster using natural produce.
GLACIAL WHEELS
Nice Ice Rebrand
Due to legal issues regarding Nice Ice’s name, the brand had chosen to undergo a rebrand to improve its image. This required a new design for its logo which was made with the intention of attracting new audiences and alter the brand’s positioning. The new logo also emulates the brand’s core values and its service as food truck company dedicated to serving frozen treats.
PROJECT YELLOW LIGHT
Don’t Text and Drive Campaign
The campaign’s objective is to discourage drivers from using their phone while out on the road. 6 ads will be designed in a simple and impactful manner. The intent for these ads is for them to be noticed by young adults driving on the road.
BOEING BRAND REPAIR
Brand Repair Campaign
The intention behind this project was to create an advertising camapign for a brand with a declining reputation. During this project I worked with Daniel Kadish who acted as the art director while I worked as the designer for the campaign. He instructed me to create a series of advertisements for the aerospace manufacturing company, Boeing. The focus on the campaign regarded the company’s innovative milestones and the improvements they have made in its efforts to regain the trust of it audience.
NAT GEO FOREST FIRE CAMPAIGN
Cause Campaign
For this project, our team was assigned to develop a cause campaign for a client of our choosing. This project required us to play the role of a graphic design and art director. As an art director, I provided my partner Daniel Kadish with the necessary information to design a reforestation initiative that was promoted by the NBA league. In return, Kadish offered me the opportunity to design a forest fire prevention initiative that was launched by National Geographic.
SAN FRANCISCO DESIGN WEEK
Event Website Design
For this assignment, I was required to develop a responive website that was capable of adapting of mobile and tablet format. The intention was to redesign a webpage for San Francisco Design Week, where users could learn about the event and register to attend.
