Hey! I’m, Charlotte Badalian HARD SKILLS EDUCATION SOFT SKILLS To create art through problem solving has brought me so much joy and passion over the course of my college career. I grew up in Tucson Arizona, and recently graduated from Grand Canyon University. While studying advertising and graphic design, I have learned perseverance, dedication, and goal setting. All of this has greatly benefited my work as a designer. Throughout most of my life I have loved photography, and that passion has carried over, and provides me a stronger eye for detail when designing. HU CHOCOLATE

HU Chocolate came to me and asked for a complete redesign from their logo to their packaging. Keeping their brand values in mind, I designed a logo that compliments their love for the planet, and for the people. This project asked that I design their packaging with extra processes, so I ensured that all of my files were print ready.

SUB ZERO BRANDING

Sub Zero, an ice cream company looking for a logo and food truck, asked me to design an, “all American” logo along with ancillary pieces, and a food truck design for their company. Once finished with this project, they came back and asked for a complete redesign of their brand, asking for something completely different from the original idea. For my first design, I designed a classic logo; however, for the second one, I had a more modern approach.

ALBUM COVERS

I created an album cover for a personal project titled, “Untethered”. Among that, The Grand Collective asked me to design a cover for their upcoming release titled, “Arise”. For this, I used a photo I took of a flower and illustrated it.

INFOGRAPHIC

My client came to me asking for an infographic about a social justice topic of my choice. Because animal cruelty is a topic I care deepy about, I chose to design an infographic on that subject. Due to the horrific nature of the topic, I designed the poster to be confronting and uncomfortable to look at, in hopes of inspiring a change in perspective.

But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and ever fails to bear fruit.

HYPER STORIES

Hyper Martial arts, The company I interned for in 2022, needed more social media content that boosted their engagement. Their target audience for their Instagram account is mostly older teens who do martial arts. My solution was to create, “Who Said It”, a story series with an inspirational quote and a quiz with three options of who said the quote.

OLIPOP ADS

Olipop came to me looking for some out of home ads that emphasized creative typography. I created the type to be subtle enough as to not overshadow the product; however, fun enough to be noticed.

THE FRESH MARKET

My client, The Fresh Market, needed a campaign that boosted employee satisfaction and longevity. Many of their employees are young, with big dreams of traveling. To incorporate all of this, I created a campaign that involved their best employees taking a trip to a community in a food desert.

I designed a few marketing materials for them. One of which is a growing manual/cookbook, which will include plants the country or region can grow, and recipes to make with those ingredients. I designed a landing page for the employees to sign up if they are interested in volunteering for the program, as well as seed packets to help get the community started on growing thier own garden.

HAPPY BRU

For this project, I was given a kombucha company and was asked to design their branding and social media ads. I created a logo that would exude a welcoming and friendly vibe. Happy Bru’s main goal is to educate people on what kombucha is, so I worked on ensuring that their ads represented that objective.
