O2 MR. GOODBAR

PACKAGE REDESIGN

For this project, the purpose and goal to achieve was to rebrand a well-known candy bar package, that is lacking viewer appeal. Many candy bars follow a pattern, and all have a similar look, and the task at hand was to produce packaging that would stand out amongst the rest. While still staying true to the brand, Mr. Goodbar was in need of a revamp as its packing does not relay the fun and excitement of the candy bar. I took a unique approach and decided to be more playful with the design.



O4 SAM’S SWEET CHILI SAUCE CO. BRAND REDESIGN

This project was done for Sam’s Sweet Chili Sauce Co. as they were in need of a rebrand to stick out amongst its competitors. A new logo, bottled packaging and print ads were created to help construct the rebrand. Along with the collateral, a tradeshow booth design was to be created to show off the new branding for this company. A simple and playful approach was taken with the hand drawn elements to give the brand a more inviting appeal.

08 NPB FLEA MARKET EVENT PACKAGE

The goal of this project was to design an emblem for a future event as well as create multiple merchandise pieces that could be handed out at the event as a promotional tactic. Newport Beach Flea was the chosen event that would take place on the boardwalk near the beach. The emblem was to highlight the different items that would be present at the event while also capturing the essence of being at the beach. These pieces needed to be appealing to a large target audience.





12 “SKATE” A BRUNO ORIGINAL BRAND IDENTITY

This project was based around building a brand identity campaign for a musician. Bruno Mars released a new song called “Skate” that needed a proper song release event. A logo, flyers, posters, and other merchandise pieces were created to promote this event. Bruno Mars envisioned performing this song in the middle of a roller skate rink which was the main source of inspiration for the development of this campaign. A bold and retro appeal was taken to highlight the popularity of roller skating in the 70’s.





16 PURA VIDA “LIVE TO GIVE” COPYWRITE CAUSE CAMPAIGN

This project was based upon building a cause campaign for an existing business. The cause was to be highlighted through copywrite and to be displayed on both digital and outdoor print mediums. This campaign “Live to Give” was created on the basis of Pura Vida’s slogan “Live Free”. Each of their bracelets displayed holds a deeper meaning bringing awareness to various causes. This campaign promotes the task of giving back and a way to do so by purchasing a cause bracelet.

20 PIZOOKI MUSIC LOGO REDESIGN

For this project, the client requested a new logo and sticker to be made. The sticker was to be a main promotional piece, that would be easy to hand out to the community. The client had a clear vision of the symbol and what it was meant to represent. The diamond with a light beam going through it. Both a clean logo and a symbolic logo was produced. This is a more modern rendition of the pervious brand logo that better represents the brand identity and mission.



22 STEAK ‘N SHAKE BRAND REPAIR

For this project, the purpose was to repair a brand that was failing in their industry. Steak ‘n Shake was considered to be on the downfall, needing help to regain success within the community. To repair the company a new logo and set of brand guidelines was set as well as a new slogan. The new slogan also acted as a promotional piece for events and discounts that would run until midnight. This brand repair reconnected Steak ‘n Shake with a younger audience through the use of digital advertising.

26 NICE ICE FOOD TRUCK BRAND REDESIGN

For this project, the purpose and goal to achieve was to brand a food truck. The clients requested a full brand update and were looking for an American style logo that represented the quality of their home-made ice cream and cold drinks. Nice Ice is known for their freshness and unique flavors, which inspired the clean, fresh feel of the new logo. Along with a logo and food truck wrap, business cards, ice cream cups, to-go bags and cold drinks cups were designed.
