HAND IN PAW

BRANDING + DIGITAL ADVERTISING + ICONS

This local pet shelter often finds its facility overcrowded and quickly runs out of space. Although prospective customers want to adopt and desire the joy of owning a dog, they fear that an adopted dog will not get along with them or feel comfortable in their home. Hand in Paw offers the solution by finding customers a pup that fits their lifestyle. By communicating the benefits of adopting a dog and promoting the ease of Hand in Paw’s matchmaking services, the campaign reaches the target audience and increases awareness of the shelter.

WEBSITE BLOG POST

Newsletters and e-blasts play a crucial role in the overall campaign. They keep the customer engaged by providing relevant information about the company. The newsletter would be sent to a prospect who becomes a customer. These emails keep Hand in Paw at the top of the customer’s mind.

MONTE VISTA CHRISTIAN

ILLUSTRATION + STORYBOARDING + SCRIPTWRITING

Monte Vista Christian is a private, co-educational, selective day and boarding Christian school for grades 6 through 12. The school requested an explainer video to help parents understand their application process. The project required research on the school and an understanding of the navigation of their website. The explainer video entailed making a script, a storyboard, and multiple versions before settling on the final direction.

HOT DIGGITY DOG

BRANDING + PACKAGING + FOOD TRUCK DESIGN

The owner of this Phoenix-based food truck was working on expanding his business by offering more than just hot dogs. He was ready to do a complete brand update. With a wide variety of southwest-inspired food, the client asked for a playful typographic logo that avoided any hot dog illustrations. In addition to a new logo, the client needed a new wrap for their food truck, a menu design, and various packaging designs.

THE SMITHSONIAN

WEB DESIGN

The Smithsonian Institution is the world’s largest museum, education, and research complex. Their magazine website called for a rebrand to bring in more page visits. This new website displays elegance and inspires discovery. In addition, it retains the sophistication of The Smithsonian while developing a more approachable look.

FAST FASHION

INFOGRAPHICS + ILLUSTRATION

Fast fashion is a clothing manufacturing method that focuses on rapidly producing high volumes of clothing for affordable prices. This infographic poster was designed to increase awareness and spark change in the fashion industry through visual communication. I turned shocking statistics about fast fashion into graphs and visuals that leave an impact on the viewer.

THE DICKINSON WEDDING

STATIONERY + SIGNAGE

I orchestrated the vision for my August 2023 wedding, designing everything from the stationery to the flowers. My wedding stationery consisted of invitations, a thank-you note for the reception tables, and vow books. The visual direction of this wedding included soft greens, floral illustrations, sophisticated serifs, and whimsical elements. The overall design of the Dickinson wedding encompassed the couple’s vision for their big day!

STAYKLEAR

SOCIAL MEDIA + ICONS

StayKlear is a hand sanitizer that aims to reduce the transmission of infectious diseases. They saw the need for a better product that effectively kills germs, but also provides care for your skin, allowing for multiple uses per day. StayKlear was seeking social media content and management across several social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook), including paid advertising. The produced content effectively increased engagement, page visits, and purchases.

COLLEGE OF ARTS & MEDIA

SOCIAL MEDIA + ADVERTISING + ICONS

During the Summer of 2022, The College of Arts & Media at Grand Canyon University underwent a beautification. Everything, from the building to social media, was transformed and reimagined through the design efforts of an advertising agency team of students at Canyon Creative. As a part of this team, some of my many tasks included managing the social media accounts of the College of Arts & Media and the Design Department and designing photo backdrops for various events and theatre productions.

PAPAGO HIVE HONEY

BRANDING + PACKAGE DESIGN + ILLUSTRATION

This Phoenix-based honey company requested a rebrand of their range of flavored honey. They needed a new visual identity to help them stand out from the competition on the shelves. The refresh of their branding required a new logo, typography, color palette, and packaging. Papago Hive Honey’s final branding ties in Phoenix botanicals and a feminine feel.

PAPAGO HIVE HONEY

ADVERTISING + COPYWRITING

After their new look was established, Papago Hive Honey needed to promote their product and its availability in stores and online. The produced advertisements included posters for each flavor outside of grocery stores and a billboard promoting all of the flavors.

PAPAGO HIVE HONEY

PRESENTATION + ICONS

To pitch each of the deliverables to the client, I developed a presentation that discussed the branding, product design, trade show booth, promotional products, and the pricing specifications of the trade show package. This pitch allowed the client to understand the purpose behind the deliverables I designed for this local Arizona honey company.
