LA FITNESS REBRAND

A brand refresh for the second largest gym in the United States. The brand needed a more recognizable and modern visual identity to stand out in the competitive industry. The new brand identity has a heavy emphasis on teamwork and togetherness, which is communicated through messaging on in-house branded signage, merchandise, and stationary.

MATTEL ADVENTURE PARK COUNTDOWN CAMPAIGN

A social media and OOH advertising campaign to promote and generate excitement for the new Mattel Adventure Park in Glendale, AZ. Different Mattel properties that are planned to be a part of the park itself are used to countdown the grand opening of the park.

ELY’S COFFEE BRANDING

A from-scratch branding concept for a coffee shop in the small city of Ely, Minnesota. The brand needed to relate and appeal to the small town while still staying true to itself. The Ely’s Coffee wolf is an important part of the brand as it alludes to the International Wolf Center (IWC). The IWC is located in Ely and is an important aspect of the town.

As a graphic designer on the Student Engagement team, I was tasked with creating branding from scratch for a variety of events on campus to promote these events to students. Each event was different with its own unique set of activities and themes.

SOUTHWEST MASTERS BRANDING

A brand identity concept for the Southwest Masters Photography Exhibition in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The branding is meant to be natural, vintage, and minimal to complement the photography and allow it to stand out on its own. Event branding includes merchandise and marketing collateral.

ASGCU LOGO REDESIGN

A brand refresh for Grand Canyon University’s student government, the Associated Students of Grand Canyon University (ASGCU). ASGCU needed a logo that read clearly and could be used at any size and in any medium. The original shield concept was kept to symbolize their defense and protection of the student body. The process of designing the logo went through many different phases of iteration and experimentation before settling on the final graphic.

Sometimes design doesn’t have to be taken seriously at all, and I think that stickers are the best medium to show that. Certain stickers in this collection were printed and used for giveaways at campus events at Grand Canyon University.
