ANNUAL REPORT DESIGN

FOR EMERSON THEATER COLLABORATIVE

Emerson Theater Collaborative is is a non-profit organization who serves the community through empowering artists. Through this project I have created an attractive elegant design to follow their brand identity. I aimed to highlight the company’s branding throughout this project, and used their branding colors and photography to create a mature sophisticated style report.

MULTIPROCESS PACKAGING

FOR LILLY’S SWEETS

For this school related project, students were tasked with creating a multiprocess package design for a company of our choice, and I chose to create designs for Lilly’s Sweets. Many sweets companies tend to incorporate darker colors such as black, red, and brown in packaging. Therefore, to make Lilly’s Sweets stand out from other packages on shelves, I incorporated a fun cartoon style design and bright colors into the new packaging.

TRADESHOW GRAPHICS

FOR GOOGLE

This project highlights my trade show booth graphics for the product Google Home. While planning this project, I took into account Google’s brand guidelines and made my designs following them. I wanted this trade show booth to have a fun and lighthearted mood, so I created the background using bold brand colors and white.

SOCIAL CAMPAIGN

FOR INOKI BATHHOUSE

This project requested students to choose a small brand and create a social media campaign for them. I chose the brand ‘Inoki Bathhouse’ and a created a campaign titled ‘What makes you feel good?’ This campaign’s mission was to create brand awareness for Inoki Bathhouse and follow their laid back mood in ads. I created a simple and elegant campaign by using subtle and textured images with serif style fonts.

EMPLOYEE MAILER

FOR TURON BANKING

For this project, I was asked to create a brochure for employees and consumers showcasing who and what Turon Bank is. To make this mailer look less congested, I broke the information into smaller digestible pieces to read. I used design elements to create a modern and sophisticated looking brochure with bright colors in attempt to help the information look more inviting.

BOOK SLEEVE DESIGN

FOR LORD OF THE FLIES

In this project, I created a cover for William Golding’s book “Lord of the Flies”. I wanted to create something strikingly different from other book sleeves that would be on shelves. First, I started with create a custom display font for the cover and then worked on create an illustration that would be a symbol of the story. I chose to create a pig head with flies buzzing around it as the main design, and focused on using more texture and darker colors to make the book sleeve unique and reflective of the book’s contents.

TABLOID PHOTOGRAPHY

FOR TAZO TEA

In this project, I worked to create product photography and a full page tabloid ad for Tazo Tea. I was able to research more into the company and create an idea for my campaign that involved Tazo Tea’s fall flavors. The photography was the most interest part of this project to me, and I was able to get unique shots that embodied Tazo Tea’s brand in a new way while still sticking to brand guidelines.

RESTAURANT MENU

FOR 3 PARROTS TACO SHOP

In this project, I worked for a company who reached out to me, ‘3 Parrots Tacos’ and created a new menu design for them. We talked about incorporating the existing colors and logo of the menu and giving it a refresh. I worked to create new graphics and update typography to give the existing menu a modern fun look while staying true to the brand.

MOBILE APP DESIGN

FOR SPOTIFY

This project revolved around updating Spotify’s Mobile App Design to create a less cluttered and more organized feed for users. I worked to make type hierarchy more simple and reduce the amount of text seen on the home page. In addition, I worked to make Spotify’s existing design style more colorful and simple so users can easily digest what is on the home screen.

2023 WRAPPED CAMPAIGN

FOR SPOTIFY

This project is a continuation of my Spotify Mobile App Design, where I created a design idea for Spotify Wrapped 2023. Each year Spotify uses a new design theme for their Spotify Wrapped. For my design I chose to create a simple and colorful theme that incorporates gradients and simple shapes that change with each users Spotify Wrapped. Text is made simple and easily readable, but the colors and gradients add an extra level of design that catches the viewer’s eye.
