Hey! Hi! Hello!

I’m Kaia! As a creator, adventurer, and hard worker, I am a creative strategist and graphic designer. My background includes studying Advertising and Graphic Design at Grand Canyon University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree. Additionally, I have a minor in Marketing.

In any situation, I engage with my core motivations. I thrive on pursuing the ideal and planning for the future. Values that matter to me drive my actions. I envision a life filled with richness and the fulfillment of big dreams. Challenges invigorate me, and I come alive under pressure. Achieving a challenge and navigating the process to the finish line brings me immense satisfaction. I strive to exceed expectations and refuse to settle—competition runs through my veins. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of completing a project to my best and checking it off my list. Beyond personal achievements, my overarching goal is to make a positive impact on others while leaving my own unique stamp.

Motivations drive the why in my life. They are the driving force behind my hobbies, projects, and goals. This snippet captures a glimpse of my life, and I look forward to adding more chapters to my biography during my time on Earth before entering the gates of heaven.

An album cover design and campaign produced for the Grand Collective, a student lead worship group. The five tomb arches symbolize each song in the album. Out of 40 other designers, my artwork was chosen and published on Apple Music and Spotify.

Assets

The Fully Known campaign included the album cover, event website, and branded tickets. The song lyrics in the album inspired all design.

AGCO Direct Dealer Summit

An event to connect AGCO Dealers with the corporate team. Design inspired by the 1996 Cohen brothers movie “Fargo” and copy written with a heavy Midwest accent. This event was a huge success and designed materials received a Silver ADDY awards from the American Advertising Federation of North Dakota.

Development

Working with a team of creatives, I helped design journal book jacket covers, bag tags, name tags, menu items, and event follow up email campaign. Other deliverables were collaborated with other creatives on the team.

Career Services

As a Career Ambassador and apart of the marketing committee, I help the team with social media content strategies and design materials. I have helped create marketing materials for multiple Career Awareness Week Campaigns, engaging content, and giveaway items for students.

Love is Floral

Love is Floral is a company inspired by the Bible Verses in 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8. Their tagline is “Love is Patient, Love is Kind, Love is Floral”. I was challenged to design a digital identity for the brand that included a logo, social media posts, a website, email campaign, and blogs.

Pain Point

It is so easy to order Online with no personal touch. Love is Floral is looking for an authentic branding and way to bring people back shopping in person.

Brand Strategy

Through digital marketing, Love is Floral wants to bring in brand awareness. To help create a trusted community around the brand, we will show how personable the company is with their clients.

Objectives

By utilizing our strong social media following, and website traffic, we want to grow brand awareness and loyalty to the brand. By the end of quarter three the goal is to increase profit by 20% and increase social media following by 35%.

Jessica Stone Book Covers

I produced three book covers for Jessica Stone, a Christian Author. With careful attention to detail and a keen understanding of the author’s vision, I crafted designs that not only grabs attention but also invites readers to look further into reading the books. These three books are available to purchase on Amazon.

Massey Ferguson Sell Sheets

Layout and designed multi-page sell sheet documents for Massey Ferguson Corporation. These sell sheets showcase model performance features, capabilities, and specifications. I demonstrated consistent typography, layout, and brand identity.

Papago Hive Honey

A company proudly made in Arizona, was looking for a logo that stood out compared to the on-shelf competition. This authentic typeface was inspired to grab the attention of customers and be unique compared to the competition. The dots between the letters represent a trail for bees but also compares to trails all around Arizona.

This campaign included a logo re-brand, packaging variation for different flavors, print advertisements, and stickers.

Brand Strategy

To create packaging deliverables that represents Arizona, and stand out compared to on-shelf competition. In addition, design print advertisements that grab people’s attention and identifiable merchandise.

American Kids Social Media

American Kids Country Swing is a student-led club at Grand Canyon University. I created engaging social media content and tracked weekly KPI’s. A variety of posts were made for weekly meetings, events, and announcements. While I was Social Media Manager I helped build the Instagram Platform and increased followers by 180%.

Muddy Boots Coffee Shop

Muddy Boots Coffee House, a small town business in Mapleton, North Dakota. I had the privilege to capture studio images that were then utilized to promote the Muddy Boots brand and products on their website and social media platforms.
