Fossilization Infographic

This project was created to showcase my ability to research a topic and my ability to then use motion graphics to represent the information. The infographic is about fossils, and it explains how dinosaurs died, how they became fossils, how they were preserved, and how paleontologists found fossils.

Meteor strikes the earth and kills the dinosaurs.

Showing the main categories that fossils fall under, including altered and unaltered fossilization.

Explaining that most fossils are found near big bodies of water. Explaining how dinosaur’s bones became fossils.

A timeline that shows how plants and skeletons of animals fossilized over a long period of time.

Another example of an unaltered fossil, by showing an insect being encased in an amber type of liquid.

Showing how humans evolved over time and explaining why fossils are important to the future of our species.

The infographic is about fusion, and it explains how different types of energy work, along with some of their disadvantages, and it also explains how fusion works.

The animation starts with a car passing by a city, while the topic of the infographic is being introduced.

Showing the disadvantages of renewable energies, such as the fact that they depend too much on the weather.

Introducing the energy type of fossil fuels, by showing the all different kinds, including oil, coal, and gas.

Introducing the new type of energy fusion.

Scientists are arguing about how to make fusion work. Showing inertial confinement, which is one of the methods scientists used to generate energy with fusion.

Showing the disadvantages of fossil fuels by showing a running factory with smoke coming out of it.

Showing the fact that fusion needs enormous amounts of pressure and temperature in order for it to work.

Showing inertial confinement being initiated.

Smooth Relief Advertisement

This project was created to showcase my ability to advertise a product and my ability to use character animation to make the product compelling.
