FILTUR UX/UI DESIGN Filtur is a revolutionary mobile application designed to address the critical issue of indoor air pollution and its adverse impact on the health of individuals. Indoor air pollution is a significant health concern, with millions of people worldwide suffering from respiratory diseases exacerbated by poor air quality.
FILTUR
Traditional methods of assessing indoor air quality are often complex and impractical. There is a pressing need for a user-friendly, accessible solution to help individuals identify and mitigate air pollutants in their homes.

The Filtur app displays detailed statistics about air quality in each room equipped with a smart pollutant detector. Users can easily access information on specific pollutants, their concentration, and the potential health implications. Filtur offers personalized

recommendations on how to improve air quality in each room. These suggestions can include actions such as adjusting ventilation, using air purifiers, or eliminating specific sources of the pollutants.

Creating a successful mobile application like Filtur involves a well-structured design process, including the development of

SPACE QUEST KIDS EDUCATIONAL APP Space Quest is an enchanting children’s educational app that blends entertainment and learning seamlessly. Geared toward teaching kids about colors and shapes, it invites young adventurers to embark on an interactive space journey. In this captivating game, children take

on the role of cosmic explorers, helping a friendly alien find its way back home. To succeed, they must choose the correct colored shape, adding an element of fun and challenge to the learning experience.

NUVO SMART HOME APPLICATION UX/UI DESIGN The mission of Nuvo was to create a user-friendly and accessible solution for individuals with disabilities, allowing them to control various smart home devices effortlessly.

The primary objective was to design an interface paired with a gesture controlled wristband that accommodates a wide range of gestures, making it inclusive and easy for users of different abilities.

The interface accommodates users with varying degrees of mobility challenges, from minimal dexterity to complete limb paralysis. Ensuring the wristband was intuitive, user friendly, and easy to

I conducted interviews and surveys with individuals with disabilities to understand their daily challenges. I then took this information and developed user personas. Extensive research went into identifying

gestures that were both feasible for users and distinguishable by the wristband’s sensors.

ELUDE MUSIC LOGO DESIGN ELUDE is an EDM producer from Orange County, CA. The artist’s name came from his relationship with his music. ELUDE says his music is an “escape” thus the logo reflects this with its stair-like architecture forming an abstrated letter “E”.

ELUDE draws inspiration from artists like ILLENIUM, Seven Lions, and Nurko in his music. Likewise, he wanted his logo to draw these same inspirations.

CENDRILLON BOOK COVER GRAPHIC DESIGN Cendrillon is the original French telling of Cinderella. Sticking with the french theme, I created an art deco cover design inspired by the work of legendary french art deco poster artist A.M Cassandre. The art deco style is characterized by angular lines, geometric patterns, and most importantly, decorative and
elegant details. Cassandre’s style often includes soft gradients and grainy shading which I chose to emulate in this design. I borrowed the angular lines and shading style of art deco and used it to create a composition that replicates what it is like to peer through crystal.
The logo is currently being used on everything from album covers to social media profiles for ELUDE.

VALLEY METRO RE-DESIGN WEBSITE DESIGN The objective of this project was to rebrand the Phoenix Valley Metro and expand the light rail map, prioritizing safety. This expansion aimed to reduce walking distances in a city where pedestrians face numerous hazards. I created a landing page to promote the “Safer Phoenix” campaign and generate interest

in the light rail expansion project. My goal was to revamp the Valley Metro experience with safety as the central theme. The expanded light rail map provides riders more convenient stops, reducing the safety risks pedestrians encounter in Phoenix’s less pedestrianfriendly environment.

CANYON PROMOTIONS WEBSITE DESIGN & WORDPRESS DEVELOPMENT The Canyon Promotions website project was a transformative endeavor aimed at enhancing the digital presence of a dynamic promotional items supplier. Canyon Promotions specializes in crafting custom-branded merchandise, offering services such as screen printing, embroidery, garment decoration, promotional items, vinyl heat press, and large format printing. The primary

objective of this project was to design and develop a usercentric website that firmly positioned Canyon Promotions as a valuable resource for its internal clients. The revamped website aimed to showcase the company’s extensive capabilities, making it easier for clients to explore and access a wide array of promotional solutions.

E-COMMERCE CAMPAIGN WEB & GRAPHIC DESIGN Helios Churros was an exciting project that encompassed the complete transformation of the company’s digital presence and promotional strategy. This endeavor entailed the design and development of an e-commerce website, a dynamic social media campaign, an engaging email marketing campaign, and distinctive packaging design for their delightful greek churros.

EASE HEALTH UX/UI DESIGN EASE is a comprehensive health application that empowers users to take charge of their well-being. This innovative app is designed to seamlessly track vital health metrics, including hydration, medication, heart rate, sleep patterns, calorie intake, and daily steps.

The goal of the brand awareness campaign was to introduce Figure 8 to climbers and outdoor enthusiasts while emphasizing responsible climbing, conservation, and community-building.

CAM DEPARTMENT CHARACTERS ILLUSTRATION This project began under the College of Fine Arts and Production. Initiated by Dean Craig Detweiler, CoFAP was to rebrand to the College of Arts and Media (CAM). CAM wanted to use their building to show that although they have individual, unique talents, they

come together as one collaborative group. I created line characters to represent each department in the college: Dance, Music, Theatre, Film, and Design.

This artwork of flowing lines, inspired by the work of Pablo Picasso creates silhouettes of creatives that unify the hallways. The lines symbolize the connection that each department has to eachother through creativity.

SPAR GLUCOSE TRACKER UX/UI DEISGN Spar is a revolutionary mobile application that aims to improve fitness and diabetes management. The challenge here is managing glucose levels effectively during physical activity, which can be especially tricky for individuals with diabetes.

The Spar application required significant UX and UI enhancements to better assist users in optimizing their fitness routines and glucose control.

With Spar, users can utalize real-time glucose monitoring. Spar has an integrated biosensor that is worn by the user and provides continuous glucose monitoring feature for real-time tracking during workouts. Spar now offers tailored nutrition and fitness advice based on users’ glucose levels, physical activity, and goals.

The application provides alerts to maintain glucose levels within a healthy range. Users can review detailed reports and glucose trend analytics to adjust their fitness routines. The design ensures that users have the energy to perform at their best during workouts.

I initiated the project by conducting comprehensive research to understand user needs, pain points, and preferences. I defined two key personas to guide the design process: “James” an amateur gym-goer with Type 2 Diabetes, and “Andrea” a fitness enthusiast with Type 1 Diabetes.

I conducted interviews with James and Andrea to grasp their experiences and gather feedback on the existing application. Through this research emerged the need for real-time glucose monitoring during exercise, and a desire for personalized nutrition and fitness recommendations.

I reviewed competing applications in the market, identifying areas where Spar could excel. The design phase aimed to address the identified user pain points and align the application’s features with the user needs.
