MAVEN Rebranding Campaign A barbershop in New Orleans was struggling with hair-care product sales. Because of this, the owner thought about discontinuing products altogether. I was tasked with re-branding the products, creating a multiplatform campaign, and increasing sales. I created a new name, logo, tone, and overall look to focus on the desired demographic. Self-care is a saturated industry, making it very important to create eye-catching designs. From visual research, simplicity is optimal when branding self-care items.

SUB ZERO Designer Redo - Logo Sub Zero decided they wanted to go in a new direction with the logo and branding; after reviewing the previous submission. The owners wanted the logo to be more ‘American’ and have strong illustrations. The process for the new logo entailed 90 thumbnails, 50 composites, and 2 final logos. This was a large project with a quick turnaround date. I learned many things from this project, especially the importance of time management and organization.

SPACEMAN Commerative Event Design I was asked to create branding for an event of my choosing. This event could have been in existence or completely original. I decided to create my own music festival event called ‘Spaceman’. This event would be electronic based and included a very specific target audience. I encapsulated the tone of the event through color, illustration and typography. Throughout the process I created a logo, and package designs for items that would be commonly seen at related events. The goal was to create excitement and interest.

SAUCE FACTORY Package Label Rebrand Creating designs for packaging can be a challenging task. Many fanstastic labels make marketing sauce brands very competitive. When developing a package design for “sauce factory”, I wanted to create something bold and eye catching. A label that would set the brand apart from countless competitors on the shelf. To reach this goal, I used bold, uncommon colors and unique branding. This project showed me the importance of creating designs that are cohesive but not identical.

OLIVER CABELL Typographic Advertisement Creating advertisements that are completely illustrated with hand crafted typography can be very challenging. What makes typography difficult, is creating something that adds to your design and doesn’t take away. Bad design can instantly be noticed when the typography does not accompany a layout/ design well. I never understood the impact illustrative ads can have until completion of this project.

A NEW CLASSIC Dickies Clothing Rebranding Dickies clothing has been a well-known brand in the blue-collar/labor industry for quite some time. Despite this, their largest demographic is moving towards young-adults and teens. Dickies is slowly transitioning into street wear/fashion. I recognized that Dickies shoul rebrand and take note of the new demographic. To reach the new audience I created a campaign that completely changed the overall feel, and look. This campaign included cohesive advertisments across various mediums.
