AB OUT /
A designer is always finding the invisible connections bet ween those connected or unconnected things. The process of design is always begins with some kind of connection, reaction, ideas and recollection of personal experience. As a designer we use our abilit y to find those invisible connec tion to synthesize and transforms from our personal experiences into collec tive collec tion. A s a d e s i g n e r, I a l w a y s s e e t h i n g s i n d i f f e r e n t p r o s p e c t s t o f i n d t h o s e connections. I choose director Jim Jarmusch, and the festival showcased his most i n t r i g u i n g f i l m s : f i l m s —St r a n g e r T h a n P a r a d i s e , D e a d M a n , D o w n B y L a w, M y s t e r y Tr a i n , C o f f e e & C i g a r e t t e s , N i g h t O n E a r t h . T h e s e f i l m s all por tray the mundane lives of people who have lost their passion and become numb. Suddenly they are tired of their old life and they n e e d t o s t a r t a n e w j o u r n e y, b u t i t s e r v e s n o p u r p o s e a n d v e r y s o o n they repeated their old way again. Jarmusch has been characterized as a minimalist filmmaker whose idiosyncratic films are unhurried. I use black white and green as the main colors and use the bight tex ture as graphic elements for whole projects. The goal of this film festival is to draw Jim Jarmusch fans in to the scene to experience the films.

Create a campaign for a non-profit company with an event included. The company we should chose to represent an issue that we feel strongly a b o u t . O v e r a l l , t h e p r o j e c t h a d t o b e t y p o g r a p h y b a s e d , s u c h a s t h e l o g o, a p p, w e b s i t e , b o o k a n d s i g n a g e .

I rebranded the non-profit organization NCLD—National Center of Learning Disabilities. The mission of NCLD is to improve the lives of the 1 in 5 children and adults. My redesign objec tive was educate people u n d e r s t a n d t h e w o r l d o f l e a r n i n g d i s a b i l i t i e s . G e n e r a l l y, I u s e d t h e c o l o r yellow is to manifest the whole projec t because I want to at trac t more p e o p l e ' s a t t e n t i o n t o t h e i s s u e o f l e a r n i n g d i s a b i l i t i e s . F o r t h e l o g o, I created a broken feeling logo to represent the visual of the learning disabilities. The book is for parents to understand more about their child who has the learning disabilities. People can use the app to scan book s then the app will read for them, the secondar y func tion is a word game for children help them learned spelling.

The final deliverables are a promotion brochure, a mobile app for wine's review and food exploration, and a series packaging design for pasta, wine and sauce.

To c r e a t e a n a p p t h a t s o l v e s a p a r t i c u l a r p r o b l e m . D e m o n s t r a t e t h e ability too go through the UI/UX design process which includes conduc ting user research, generating the application concept, preparing various protot ypes, user testing, and designing the application with o n e c o m p l e t e u s e r f l o w.
APPROAC H /
I'm the person who doesn' t know any thing about cooking, so I decide develop an app that can easily teach people how to cook step by step. The unique func tion of my app is people can take photo of the food they have, then the app can give suggestion of recipes. The app also contained social media function to encourage people cook more and share their food with friends.
