This year has been a year of milestones and life changing opportunities for the youth of Macon and Middle Georgia. U Create Macon is a grass root initiative to bring quality programming to youths from all backgrounds. We are the first youth inspired makerspace in Central Georgia. We also include family friendly event because research has shown that parents get inspired when kids come home talking about these new experiences. Programming is built upon proven data, youth input, and the decade of experience of its leadership team. We will highlight only a few of the many enriching programs we held this year!
First Activity from U Create Macon
Kids learn to write scripts, read from a teleprompter and more!
Field Trip and Arts U Create Macon then partnered with Arizona White to have a special trip to see the Atlanta Dream Basketball game. There we met International Olympic Artist Steve Allen. This meeting was life changing and the kids got a chance to learn art from this inspirational artist. He hosted a workshop in Macon before going to South America to teach kids the same thing he was sharing with us. This relationship also helped forge a new partnership with the Tubman Museum.
Entrepreneurship – Middle Georgia Kidz Market
Kids keep 100% of their profits. U Create Macon has hosted 8 so far with plans for 3 more in 2020. This included the popup location for Spring 2020
Free community walk through the historic Pleasant Hill neighborhood
Biggest tea party in Central Georgia with over 80 princesses. We hosted this event in partnership with SM Creations at the beautiful Travis Jeans.
Simply thank you to SparkMacon for hosting our second location for a few months. We will revisit reopening location in the future. Our goal is to not recreate the wheel but continue to be powered by people. SparkMacon will always be a partner with U Create Macon.

We have maximized any investment into our program tenfold. We are going to have a busy 2020 and we need your support. We will have a baseball/softball team with Macon RBI, a working garden, more biking opportunities, and training programs. Also our kids are going to have their first summer camp experience with Creator’s Refuge.
Join us for 2020 as we change lives and have fun while doing it! Imagine. Explore. Create. U Create Macon.
