DELEGATION TRIPS
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS INCREASED FROM 2018
Projects In 2019, the GTCC Corporate Services Department organised yet again a great variety of exclusive target group-specific projects, business delegations, events and workshops that were aimed at promoting bilateral trade relations between Thailand and Germany. In addition, activities/projects under the framework of the German Chamber ASEAN Business Council (GCABC) were supported. The department processed around 1,000 business and trade requests in 2019. The por tfolio of activities in 2019 included (but was not limited to) projects suppor ted by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), private sector businesses, government/federal state agencies, industry associations and authorities in both Germany and Thailand as well as content-driven events in Thailand (see the list in the next page). In 2019 GTCC organised a total of six business delegation trips to Germany: the number of participants increased +41.6% (y-o-y).
