Whether you like to be sparkly and glamorous or add a little more than an enhancement, I’ve got a makeup look for you to try! First, I would like to give a shout out to my models Nancy and Anna for letting me create these fabulous looks! Let’s get into it!
Nancy likes makeup! She prefers to wear a look that’s a little bit more than an enhancement. I created this warm, bronzey eye, with a flushed blush, and a natural lip! For her eyes, I started with the Kevyn Aucoin Cream Foil Shadow in Copper!
Nancy's look: This is the perfect crème eyeshadow for the holiday seasonn! 1. Simply use the doe-foot applicator to swipe the color on your mobile eyelid, then blend with your fingers! It’s okay for the color to be on the bold side—you want the color to really stand out! 2. Finish the rest of your eyes with your favorite earthy-tone eyeshadows and eyeliner to emphasize your eyes hape. 3. Pop on your favorite mascara, or even a subtle pair of false eyelashes!
On to your complexion: 1. Apply your go-to foundation. 2. Pop NARS Orgasm blush on your cheeks! (It’s the perfect combination of a flushed pink and golden shine—for this simple holiday look!) 3. Finish with your favorite lip pencil—keep your lips soft and natural, nothing to bold here!

1. Apply your favorite glitter on your mobile eyelid. I used Eye Kandy Cosmetics Eye Kandy Glitter in Sugar Cane. If you have never applied glitter before, here’s the best tip I can offer you: absolutely start your makeup look with your eyes! The glitter will fall everywhere, and it is easier to clean off when you don’t have other makeup products on the face. 2. Once the glitter is set in place, pop on a bold, full pair of lashes! Keep your complexion light and dewy. Then pop on a bright red lipstick! I used Swedish Jealousy Lipstick in Weekend! Shine on beauties!

Take your curled hair for work and make it party hair by using fun hair clips!
LOOK ONE: WORK DAY
1. Start by taking a section from the right side and start twisting it towards the crown area. Secure the end with your hair clip. 2. Take a section from the left side and do the same as the right side. Secure with the hair clip. 3. You can also bring both sides together and use one hair clip. 4. Time to party!

1. Brush hair throughly. Section into 2 parts with a clip. 2. Apply heat protection to hair. I used (Davines OI oil) Using your fingers brush through.

Did you know Barbie’s "swirl ponytail” came out in the year 1964? Try this style for a fun night out on Valentine’s Day! 1.Curl hair with a 1 1/2 inch curling iron or wand.
3. Start curling vertically by clamping a 2 inch section from the bottom.
2. Let sit until you are ready to go into work. Lightly run your fingers through hair to loosen up the curls.
4. After all Hair is curled, apply a flexible hold spray to keep the shape and hold the bounce!

Softly brush through with a wide tooth comb or use your fingers.
4. Get ready to pull up that hair After work! Starting from the sides, bring hair back to the middle of your head. Secure with a lovely hair tie and DONE! (To get a perfect “swirl” twirl pony around your finger.)

TOP 4 Examples of why I personally feel that radio is still viable, and not fading out by any stretch of the imagination, are:
Much like Samuel Clemens, better known as Mark Twain, the demise of radio has been greatly exaggerated. Although many of us today consume our news through electronic means, radio remains an excellent way to get a message out to your audience, especially in a fastpaced environment like the present. In my mind, it’s similar to how the Kindle and the Nook have not eliminated the sales of paperback and hardcover books, because many of us love the tactile sensation of turning pages.

ONE: Ability to Multi-task.
TWO: Radio can be done anywhere.
When I’m hard at work on a last-minute project, playing with my children or driving somewhere, the radio in the background compliments the experience, without taking focus off of what I’m doing. I can consume the content without having it be my sole focus.
Similar to blogging. With the advent of online radio stations, you can broadcast from your own house with the right equipment.
THREE: The human element. The human element of advertising and content is much easier to get through radio than by electronic media. Much in the same way that an email fails to convey context and emotion, these things are easily conveyed over the air, by either the host or the interviewee.
FOUR: Sure, radio is a medium with no visual element – but I say that is a good thing! The listeners get to create the visual content in their own minds. If you’re a baseball fan like I am, you’ve almost certainly listened to a game on the radio at some point in your life, and remember how the vivid play-by-play descriptions let you picture it all while listening.
Having hosted my own show for 5 years to date, I can definitely say that both terrestrial and internet-based radio are dynamic and still have a place today, and will for a long time to come!

The Four Horseman - Learn the Warning Signs of Destructive Communication Before It's Too Late! EDITORIALS WITH LESSONS BY LANEY I hope you will find this helpful to decipher what truly works in healthy relationships and what behaviors are often the kiss of death. Clem Onojeghuo

said that, research is showing that there are a number of universally destructive traits that can destroy the health and length of relationships.

Learning what these are and finding solutions and alternatives can help create a stronger, more loving union. World renowned Drs. John and Julia Gottman created a famous radar detective for couples to predict if they will breakup or divorce or live happily ever after. I became rather fascinated with this technique and began reading and researching this to teach some of these theories to my Marriage and Family classes.
Here is a brief summary. THE FOUR HORSEMAN. (This is a metaphor from the Apocalypse of the New Testament) Criticism. Let’s face it, even the best of people may be tempted or guilty of criticizing others. People can get on each others nerves, disappoint another or frustrate and challenge us. A little bit of constructive criticism may be rather harmless and well intentioned, but frequent criticism, especially in a romantic union can chip away at one’s self-esteem. Over time, one can become resentful of the other and get to a point where respect turns to contempt. Defensiveness. Yes, everyone should have boundaries and should be protective of our thoughts or beliefs that we hold dear. Having said that, if you frequently find that you are in a relationships where one or both of you is constantly defending their opinions, thoughts or beliefs, than you are debating instead of communicating in a productive way. Pay attention to why you may feel defensive often. Do you feel insecure? Is your partner insecure? Be mindful of not projecting negativity on one another.
Contempt. This is a true kiss of death to a relationship and happens slowly over time. If you lose respect for your partner, feel that your partner has been abusive to you or betraying and belittling, unless this is addressed and remedied, contempt will begin to grow. If you get to this point (and hopefully you won’t) there is little to salvage. Problems and issues must be addressed and remedied quickly. Once contempt enters the picture, the respect dies and so does the relationship.

Stonewalling. This is also similar to the silent treatment. This passive-aggressive behavior is emotionally abusive and causes many breakups, anxiety, stress and toxicity in a relationship. This is different than taking a time-out which may be necessary and healthy. Stonewalling is refusing to talk to, be with, punish another in order to seek revenge and even the score. This is a big NO NO, if you want a productive, healthy relationship. It’s not always easy to say I’m sorry or to forgive. Nobody is perfect, but before resorting to this unhealthy and dangerous tactic, be sure to think twice before you stonewall your partner or give them the cold shoulder. Research shows this is one of the ultimate destructive tools that often leads to divorce. So, there you have it. The Four Horseman. If these are part of your relationship, become aware that couples who participate in these behaviors on a regular basis often will not remain together. The solution, focus on what is compatible, give only constructive feedback and don’t be afraid to have disagreements!
If you are having difficulties in your relationship, TALK AND COMMUNICATE! Often this can help tremendously to recover from a path of unhealthy and ultimately destructive relating.

TOP 3 THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN HIRING A WEBSITE DESIGNER with WEBSITE PRODUCER , aya lanzoni FIRST: FONT

Aya is the Chief Web Producer and owner, and runs on coffee, sarcasm, and wit. Thinking about hiring a professional web designer? Great! Just know that’s there’s more to it than meets the eye. Do you want it to be not just pretty, but also pretty flipping sweet, with high conversion rates and website traffic?
Would you use the same font if you were a photographer or an event planner? Probably not. Successful businesses choose their fonts very carefully. It may seem boring, but it’s one of those tiny details that just cannot be missed. The font you choose will set the tone and represent your brand. Who is your ideal market and how do you want to come across to the them? Elegant and sophisticated? Strong and passionate? Welcoming and trustworthy? Give your readers something that is easy to read; don’t give them an unsolicited headache with a complicated font.
SECOND: COLORS You’ll want to limit yourself to maybe three to four colors for your website that also align with your brand (maybe five…if you’re lucky). Too many colors may overwhelm your reader, and may deter them away from your website.
For example, let’s take the color blue. Blue gives off a feeling of calmness, serenity and trust.One of the largest social networks’ branding (cough, cough…Facebook) is blue, and it’s probably not a coincidence. Similarly, PayPal, a large conduit for transferring billions of dollars every day, also has blue as a part of their branding and website, instead of green, which could be used to represent money. If it was something like pink instead, they probably wouldn’t have high personnel conversion rate success. Get it?
THIRD: LAYOUT Ever hear a designer freak out about white space? If not, let’s hang out sometime…but I digress. Content is king, but too much of a good thing can be a bad thing. You’ll want to have a nice balance between too much content and too little content before you even touch your website. You wouldn’t want it to have all of your images or text all over the design, it just looks messy and becomes another way of having your reader say, “bye-bye!” If your website takes too long to load, they’ve probably already left your website and moved onto the next. When it comes to website layout, the keyword you’ll want to remember is balance. If you have a photography website and it only has images and no text, what’s going to balance out all of those pictures? Who is the person behind the camera? People will buy into your story before they buy into your product/services (thank you, Jackie Zuk!).
Before diving head first into the web design world, a few things to consider are your font, color, and layout. When these three aspects are brought together into the perfect trifecta, you’ll have a beautiful website that you can be proud of!
