ver the past months, we have all seen how digitalization has entered into our daily lives, a development only accelerated by the COVID-19 crisis. Working from home, I myself discovered how useful Zoom calls can be for managing a global enterprise. Six months ago, I would never have thought this possible. I was convinced that certain decisions could only be made face-to-face in a meeting that you traveled to by plane. So the crisis has offered us a unique opportunity to rethin some of our firmest convictions and find new, smarter and perhaps even more successful ways of doing things. Engel & Völkers has been investing in digital transformation for many years and continues hiring new people in the field.
