The large central courtyard elevations are clad in contrasting metal siding and stucco. Four artists were commissioned to incorporate art integral to the character of the project, providing a distinctive identity in a crowded marketing environment.

The site has an irregular shape and sloping topography that the design capitalizes on by separating the project into two separate buildings, offering abundant program uses and engaging with the street level through walking paths, open green spaces and retail options. :LWK DQ RYHUDOO JRDO RI IRVWHULQJ XUEDQ OLYDELOLW\ <DOH ZLOO HQJDJH and strengthen this nexus between communities, offering a link to other Seattle neighborhoods and beyond.
Bridges @ 11th 6HDWWOH :DVKLQJWRQ Bridges@11th is designed to provide an innovative model of affordable ZRUNIRUFH KRXVLQJ IRU HPSOR\HHV RI WKH 8QLYHUVLW\ RI :DVKLQJWRQ DQG 6HDWWOH &KLOGUHQ¶V +RVSLWDO DQG WKHLU IDPLOLHV $OO HGJHV RI WKH three buildings were designed to support and enliven the pedestrian HQYLURQPHQW DW VWUHHW DQG DOOH\ OHYHO ZLWK RQ JUDGH KRXVLQJ OLYH ZRUN space, community uses, retail and a bike club. To provide connectivity and build community among the residents, the circulation path throughout all three buildings was designed to encourage interaction between residents and with the outdoors. A green rooftop sky trail connects the three buildings via connector bridge art elements, a nod to Seattleâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s topographical linkages across bodies of water.
