Una storia di passione fatta di persone che negli anni hanno dedicato la loro vita a questo sport. Prima da professionista e poi da imprenditore, Simone Fraccaro ha dato un’impronta agonistica forte al marchio supportando diversi team fin dalla nascita dell’azienda nel 1984. Atleti, ciclisti su strada, mountain bikers, ad ogni altitudine si possono trovare persone che vestono prodotti GSG. Dall’esperienza nelle competizioni più impegnative nascono le innovazioni tecnologiche e gli sviluppi di ricerca dei capi. GSG è un’azienda che quotidianamente vive di passione per le due ruote. Un team di professionisti che si dedica con dedizione e preparazione allo sviluppo tecnologico e alla scelta dei migliori materiali da utilizzare per i propri capi.

IL BELLO DEL DOGMA Tanto grande calcio, tanti supercampionati di atletica nuoto basket volley sci pugilato ecc. ecc. e persino ping-pong, tanti viaggi anche in Cina (1966) quando quasi nessuno riusciva ad andarci, anche a Cap Canaveral per Apollo 11 che nel 1969 saliva alla Luna con i suoi terricoli pionieri, anche da Cassius Clay cioè Muhammad Alì in Congo e da Pelè nel Brasile delle macumbe, anche fra le balene della Baja California che è Messico e negli stadietti clandestini della lotta di galli e di pesci assassini e di pugili a tutto corpo in Thailandia, tutto bello e tutto (tutto insieme) meno di un ricordo spicciolo dal Giro d’Italia, dal Tour de France, dalla Parigi-Roubaix…, e adesso con quel che accade in Venezuela anche da San Cristobal, Mondiali su strada del 1977 a due passi da Cucuta, che è invece Colombia, diventata oasi di esuli venezuelani disperati. Ecco, (ri)prende attualità un ricordo minimo ed enorme, quel collega milanese che proprio nel Venezuela del ciclismo iridato mi disse: “Un allungo di Simone Fraccaro vale un Mondiale intero di calcio”. Se qualcuno ricorda, sa che Fraccaro era un medio ciclista professionista, anche pi stard, però a noi due bastava per fare una scelta d’amore.

Una historia de pasión hecha de personas que a lo largo de los años han dedicado su vida a este deporte. Inicialmente como profesional y luego como empresario, Simone Fraccaro ha aportado a la marca un fuerte carácter de competición, apoyando a distintos equipos desde la fundación de la empresa en 1984. Atletas, ciclistas de carretera, ciclistas de montaña: a todas las altitudes se pueden encontrar personas que visten los productos GSG. De la experiencia en las competiciones más difíciles derivan las innovaciones tecnológicas y el estudio y desarrollo de las prendas. Un equipo de profesionales que con

Giessegi Srl is a company founded in 1984 by Simone Fraccaro, professional road and track rider in the 70s and 80s. The company is nowadays one of the 5 leading manufacturers of custom bike wear in Italy. Giessegi delivers its products to customers in 30 foreign countries, on all continents. Our main target is to satisfy our customersâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; requests, adapting our service and products to their market needs and new trends. We have decided to keep our production in the north east of Italy, to have direct control on the supply chain, product development and manufacturing process. Our customers are asking for fast deliveries, quantities flexibility and wide range of products; we can fulfil this requests because we own and manage our production plant and we are located in a region with a long tradition in the bike and sport textile industry.

Giessegi Srl è una società fondata nel 1984 da Simone Fraccaro, ciclista professionista su strada e pista negli anni ‘70 e ‘80. L’azienda è oggi uno dei 5 principali produttori di abbigliamento ciclistico custom in Italia. Giessegi distribuisce i suoi prodotti in oltre 30 paesi stranieri su tutti i continenti. L’obiettivo principale di GSG è quello di soddisfare le richieste dei clienti, adattando il servizio e i prodotti alle esigenze del mercato e alle nuove tendenze. L’azienda ha deciso di mantenere la produzione nel nord-est d’Italia, per avere un controllo diretto sulla filiera dei fornitori, sullo sviluppo del prodotto e sul processo di produzione. I clienti chiedono sempre più consegne rapide, flessibilità sulle quantità e una gamma di prodotti variegata; GSG è in grado di soddisfare queste richieste, perché è proprietaria e gestisce direttamente gli impianti di produzione e si trova in una regione con una lunga tradizione nel settore tessile ciclistico e motoristico.

El objetivo principal de GSG es satisfechar las solicitudes de los clientes, adaptando el servicio y los productos a las necesidades del mercato y a las nuevas tendencias. La empresa ha decidido mantener la producción en el nordest Italia, para tener un control directo de los proveedores, del desarrollo del producto y del proceso de producción. Los clientes piden entregas siempre más rápidas, flexibilidad en las cantidades y una gama ampia de productos ; GSG es capaz de satisfacer esas solicitudes, porque es propietario y gestiona directamente la producción y está situada en una zona con una larga tradición en el ambito textil del ciclismo.

Aquí, un recuerdo mínimo y enorme llega a la cabeza, ese colega milanés que me habló del ciclismo en Venezuela, que dijo: “Una jugada de Simone Fraccaro vale todo un Mundial de fútbol”. Quien lo recuerda, sabe que Fraccaro fue un ciclista profesional promedio, incluso pistard, pero fue suficiente para cautivarnos”...

Und so gewann eine kleine aber dennoch wichtige Erinnerung (wieder) an Aktualität; als mein Mailänder Kollege, der damals in dem für den Radsport so renommierten Venezuela war, mir sagte: “Eine Attacke von Simone Fraccaro ist eine ganze Fußballweltmeisterschaft wert.” Wer sich erinnert, weiß, dass Fraccaro ein durchschnittlicher ProfiRadfahrer war, auch auf der Rennbahn, aber dennoch reichte es uns beiden, um diesen Moment immer in unserem Herzen zu tragen”...
