New youth programmes for San Pedro THE MAYOR of San Javier, Visitación Martínez, held a meeting with the CEO of Youth, Francisco Sanchez, and the Councillor of the Department, Javier Castejón to pool together new programmes, which will be offered to the municipality in the coming months.
by Keith Nicol THEY ALSO addressed the recent involvement of San Pedro del Pinatar in the implementation of the Regional Network of Local Youth Councils as well as the needs and demands of the municipality in this area. This week 2,700 children went back or started at one of the nine schools of San Pedro del Pinatar. The school year began normally for students in nursery and primary schools in the town. The mayor was accompanied by the general director of Educational Planning and Human Resources of the Ministry of Education, Enrique Ujaldón, and the Councillor for Education, Guadalupe Garcia, who visited the school Our Lady of Mount Carmel Lo Pagan to mark the start of the school year. Enrique Ujaldón noted during his visit to San Pedro del Pinatar, that students and teachers have begun teaching Mayor of San Javier, Visitación Martínez, without any incidence.
