The paper has already enjoyed such a success in the area, it was decided to launch a dedicated Costa Calida edition – and just like the existing North and South Costa Blanca issues, the aim is to have pages packed with local news and events. It is exciting times for the Costa – already a vibrant area with new commercial ventures like the new Corvera Airport and the planned Paramount theme park. And expansion means thousands of more copies of RTN are now available from distribution points along the Costa Calida and further inland . RTN’s Managing Director Geoff Gartland explained why the time was ripe for expansion. “Costa Calida is an upcoming vibrant area with lots of promising commercial projects such as Paramount and the new airport in Corvera, making it a place where people want to live and visit and spend their time. “It is the perfect time to introduce our new third edition. Many people have asked for more local content in this area. Not only are we responding to our readers’ request, we are going one better and giving them their own dedicated edition.” He added: “And as far as I am aware, RTN is the only English newspaper in the Valencia and Murcia regions to offer three editions.” Continued on page 6
