French tourists allege a Guardia Civil assault
A FRENCH couple holidaying in Torrevieja over the Christmas period have filed assault charges against two Guardia Civil officers. by Jan Gamm JEANINE ALICE Naud and Jean Louis Naud were shopping with their two children at a large complex near the city on 30th December when the security alarm was activated. SEARCHED
The family was taken aside and searched by security personnel, including the two children, along with other shoppers. They were body-searched and their bags were emptied. Nothing that was not accompanied by a receipt was found amongst their belongings, yet they were removed to a private room by attending Guardia Civil officers and thoroughly searched again. When nothing was found the father demanded that his family be released.
