During a visit to the City of Salt, Spain’s Secretary of State for Security announced that Torrevieja will have a Permanent Police Office (OFIPOL) installed this month. It will be the second such installation, with the first, a pilot program in Malaga, proving to be very popular. OFIPOL is an innovative project developed in Spain. The facility is designed to allow for progressive and efficient care and management between the police and both Spanish and International citizens. OFIPOL will enable Spanish citizens and foreign residents and tourists direct access to police services. It is adapted for the disabled (deaf, blind and in wheelchairs) and gives
