by Keith Nicol The new classrooms will accommodate 15,470 education places with the Valencia Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports putting out to tender the construction of 26 schools of Education and Primary and Secondary Schools for 2015. As reported by the Government in a statement, in addition to the already announced 16 schools, The Education Department plans to build an additional ten new schools in the towns of Rojales, Elda, Guardamar del Segura, Sagunto, San Fulgencio, Torrevieja, Muro d’Alcoy, Anna, Torrent and Xirivella. These ten centres will offer 4,470 places in Primary, secondary with 1,728 and in high school for 576. The addition of the 26 new schools to accommodate 15,470 students is has places for 11,760 in primary schools, 3,504 in secondary schools and 206 in education centres for Special Education. By provinces, will be 5,594 in Alicante, Castellón has 3,630 and 6,246 places are in the province of Valencia. The construction of these centres will eliminate more than 500 prefabricated classrooms.
