FOR MOST observers, it’s been plenty of time for any new organisation to find their feet. Apart from the typical squabbling along party political lines, International residents have been asking questions as to what is next for Torrevieja and the way the city is managed? After almost 100 days in power, members of the International community are wondering what is happening about certain functions and projects in the city. Residents and visitors just want an update, and although work may be progressing in the background, the clock is ticking and the natives are becoming restless. Of the questions asked of RTN by concerned citizens, as we went to press we still have not received any updates from the Town Hall on such important matters as the widening of the N332, the movement of the Friday Market, cycle routes, free bus passes, direct bus route to Alicante RENFE station, future of the relaxation spa, use of the International Music Conservatory, construction of the Youth Arts and Performance Centre or the Foreign Residents Office, to name but a few.
