FOLLOWING PRESS reports regarding the situation at FC Torrevieja, in which it was reported that the new owners SAMM Inc were threatening to pull out of the club due to unfavourable website forum comments, it seems that things are still as uncertain
by Louise Clarke as ever. Last week, RTN met with Ian Gully, FC Torrevieja’s former Press Officer and Eddie Cagigao, its former Chairman. They explained that, in their opinion,
SAMM Inc have reneged on their contract in which it was agreed to pay the player’s wages and the club’s outstanding debt and as a result, they have been given an ultimatum to pay all outstanding monies by 16th April. Ian told RTN: “SAMM Inc promised
to pay all the debts by 5th February, but they haven’t. This has led certain people to investigate this company to see if they are genuine and indeed if they have the funds that they say they do. Continued on page 3
