Introduction WHO WE ARE We’re 6,000 Go-getters, Innovators, Risk-takers, and Leaders (G.I.R.L.) who make Southern Nevada a better place through community service projects, leadership development, and public advocacy. Continuing the legacy of our founder, Juliette Gordon Low, Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada prepares girls to meet their world with courage, confidence, and character. As our council enters it’s 86th year of welcoming all girls into the Girl Scout sisterhood, we’re preparing future female leaders through our four content pillars: STEAM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Arts, and Math), Outdoor Experiences, Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship. Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada continues to be the preeminent leadership development organization where girls learn and thrive in a safe and supportive all-girl setting.

Our Grade Levels Any girl in grades K-12 can join the fun at Girl Scouts. Whether you want to be part of a troop, sign up for exciting events, explore the outdoors, or travel the world - each age level has something for you. Girls are placed in the grade level that corresponds to their school grade (see right). Look for this grade level color throughout the Program & Training guide to find the programs and events created just for your G.I.R.L.!
