Algebra is the foundation for all high school math classes… and most math classes in college, too! This new opportunity teaches fundamental algebra skills through the use of puzzles, games and investigations. Students discover how variables, unknowns, expressions and equations work by investigating, solving problems and playing games using “legal moves.” This whole-brained approach uses inquiry, visualization and manipulatives to develop a deep understanding of algebraic equations rather than just memorizing sets of procedures. Students will be able to develop their own techniques to solve complex equations. This is the mark of one who truly understands! FUN PATCH
