8 CAMP KAUFMANN

Dear Girl Scouts,

Patterson

Growing up in Maine provided me with the opportunity to enjoy so many outdoor adventures – to climb trees, hike trails, and swim in lakes. For NYC girls, I know that access to the outdoors can be challenging and I love seeing Girl Scouts have amazing experiences outdoors, especially in the summer!

Danbury

Camp Locations

I am so excited to celebrate the second year of our relaunched sleepaway camp program at Camp Kaufmann, where girls are able to experience the open woods or see the star-filled night sky without the obstruction of streetlights. Girls can fish and go boating, practice their skills at our archery range, swim in the pool, and so much more!

URBAN DAY CAMPS

With so many programs like Urban Day Camp and Breaking the Code, girls can engage their passion for playing in nature and learn to code this summer, with Girl Scouts!

HOW DO I SIGN UP? Registration: Go to www.girlscoutsnyc.campbrainregistration.com. If you registered for camp in 2019, sign into your account. If this is your first time, you can easily create an account! You will be able to select whether to start an application for Urban Day Camp or Camp Kaufmann. If you are registering your camper for both programs, you will need to complete two applications. Next, you will “add a child” to your household and choose the grade they will be entering in the Fall of 2020. The next page will show the available programs for your campers age! If you are not a current Girl Scout member, add the membership to your cart along with your chosen session. If you are applying for Financial Aid, you can also add that to your cart. Please contact 212-645-4000 ext. 297 if you have any questions or issues with registration. Financial Assistance: We want every girl to have the opportunity to attend camp. If you have added Financial Aid to your cart, you will be able to complete an information form later in the process. We award anywhere from 10% - 95% assistance depending on the family’s financial situation. Financial Aid is available via application completed during the camp registration process.
