Travel From local field trips to international excursions, travel is a big part of the Girl Scout experience! Council led travel opportunities range from regional trips such as Farm to Table and Turtles & Kayaks to international trips including Japan in 2023 and London to Lucerne in 2024 (email info@gskh.org to learn more). Troop travel is a popular option – anything from a local day trip to an international adventure! Girl Scouts and adults work together to plan, budget, and arrange trip details according to the guidelines and requirements for travel. A travel guide is available at kansasgirlscouts.org as a resource to successful planning. A Travel Application must be submitted for all overnight activities.
