Pack your bag & hop in the van...we’re exploring Maine, the Vacation State! Our base camp is Maine Primitive Skills School in Augusta. We’ll learn essentials of survival, explore local treasures, hike or snowshoe (snow-dependent) & visit L.L. Bean’s flagship store in Freeport to talk with outfitters about gear & getting outside. Daisies will earn their Eco Learner badge while learning about nature, keeping things safe outdoors and how to protect nature. Brownies will earn their Eco Friend badge while learning more about how to treat outdoor spaces with kindness while finding new ways to protect our natural world and the livings things in it. Juniors will earn their Outdoor Art Explorer badge by letting nature be the inspiration as we explore, create and design different kinds of art in the outdoor setting.
