It takes lots of imagination, focus and teamwork. Juniors are invited to learn about the power of observation as they earn the Detective badge. Girls will challenge themselves as they learn what it takes to be a detective. During the day, girls will learn about a wide variety of things including fingerprints and how to create their own secret code! Toward the end of the program, they will have chance to test their new found abilities at a murder mystery dinner. Junior Detective badge included.

Girls will work in teams to complete a set of engineering challenges. When each challenge is completed, they will receive a clue that will help them to solve a mystery. Challenges may range from building with food, designing tools or creating chain reactions. All materials provided. Girls should bring a lunch, drinks provided.

energy and how to use energy efficiently, focusing on the line “using resources wisely” from the Girl Scout Law. Participants will complete the majority of their Journey work and plan their Take Action Project. A few activities (totaling no more than 1.5 hours) will need to be completed before or after the program, along with completing the Take Action Project before the Journey is fully complete.
