Lafert NA offers a range of Metric Stainless Steel Motors suitable for the food processing and pharmaceutical industries. Stainless Steel Motors are an excellent, alternative when replacing motors in applications where high pressure washing is a concern as well as paint flaking. With reduced edges to catch food, and etched nameplates, washing down these motors becomes an easier process. The motors are equipped with drain holes in all four quadrants, and at both ends of the motor which allow the lowest point to have an open drain hole.

BEND RESTRICTORS
Coxreels announces the addition of bend restrictors to accompany its selection of reel accessories. This hose option is available on low pressure hose reels with 1/4”, 3/8”, and 1/2” of PVC, rubber and nitrile hose handling 300 psi of working pressure. Bend restrictors are suggested for hose assemblies that might receive substantial usage and are recommended for air, water, oil, fuel, and other fluid transfer applications. The bend restrictors are made of durable and flexible PVC that provide a convenient grip for increased hose control and mobility. They are designed to limit the degree of bending without compromising the integrity of the hose assembly while also preventing the hose-end from kinking, excessive wearing and tearing. AIR AMPLIFIER SYSTEM
AirBooster air amplifier systems are designed to boost plant air pressure at point of use work stations and pneumatically operated machinery when the available working pressure is insufficient. These energy saving systems allow for increased air pressure where and when needed without increasing the pressure on the entire plant air system. Easy to install with very low maintenance, these units are available in standard and custom configurations with 2:1, 5:1, 15:1 and 30:1 ratios. All systems are ASME Coded and CRN certified. Ideal for explosion proof applications because AirBooster systems do not need electrical power, since they use the same compressed air source for both driving and amplifying. Impact RM Inc. POSITAL has introduced a new analog interface for its MAGNETCODE (MCD) family of rotary encoders. These products are suitable for applications that use simple analog-based measurement and control systems. Analog-interface MCD encoders are available in single- or multi-turn models. The MCD encoders have a unique range adjustment feature: the encoder can be “taught” the rotary positions that correspond to the limits of travel of the machine that it is connected to. Once this has been done, the encoder’s internal electronics will automatically scale the output so that the full range of signal voltage exactly covers the full range of travel on the machine, thereby optimizing the accuracy of the measurement system. MOTION PROGRAMMING SCRIPT
Kollmorgen introduces the new Motion Programming Script (MPS)-an easy-to-use, network-enabled implementation of a BASIC-like programming language with commands added specifically for motion control. It empowers electrical and mechanical engineers with relatively little programming knowledge to quickly write complex motion sequences and program equipment via short, easy-to-use and intuitively-named commands. The MPS is especially useful in stage gantry and robotics applications, where the need for complex motion intersects with the need for simple commands. Kollmorgen CIRCLE NO. 45 ON READER REPLY CARD

Cherry’s new AN9 series dual-output rotary position sensor is electrically and physically non-contracting, making it suitable for applications where high reliability and uncertain physical tolerances are involved. Its dual output design offers an additional dimension of reliability, allowing a connected controller to diagnose potential problems in the sensing system. The sensor output is programmable, but it is available in standard output ranges from 0-45 degrees to 0-360 degrees. Its non-contacting nature means that unlimited rotations are possible. Over molded around a GR200 magnetic reedswitch, this new J leaded version measures just 6.8mm in length and 2.4mm in height. The external leads of the reed switch form a tear drop terminal pad arrangement which preserves a greater portion of the initial magnetic circuit, thus enhancing the magnetic sensitivity of the sensor. The SR4J series boasts a maximum sensitivity range of 3/5 Ampere Turns (AT) (initial) and is available in a production range from 3 to 20 AT. Standex Electronics CIRCLE NO. 69 ON READER REPLY CARD
