Adele-C: 56 Daybed (design Ron Gilad) Adele Cassina has a storied last name in the world of design. Her father, Cesare Cassina, was the leader of a group of enlightened entrepreneurs who ignited the Italian miracle of designer furniture in Brianza’s fertile production district. Adele Cassina has recently started her own company: Adele C. Her brand sets out to create products that transcend trends and are ambassadors of discreet elegance. Helming the company will be Adele herself who, as well as having a strong character and rich emotional intelligence, has witnessed the history of Italian design unfold from inside the walls of her childhood house. Reclaimed Woods Century Wood Products Inc. processes lumbers which come from demolition sites. Historic buildings slated for demolition such as old factories and warehouses in urban surroundings and century old barns in rural areas incorporated a lot of wood in their original designs. Other applications include wall and ceiling details as well as beams for decorative purposes such as mantles.

Net Effect Collection Without blue, there’s no green. Discarded fishing nets have been part of the mix of our 100% recycled content type 6 nylon since 2011 when our partner, Aquafil, began incorporating them into the yarn they sell us. Last year, we saw an opportunity to expand the positive impacts of this design solution. Designed as a tribute, Net Effect honours the ocean not only in its aesthetic references but also in a unique and tangible way through a project called Net-Works. Net Effect, a collection of six products including both square tiles and skinny planks, is a stunning carpet tile collection that washes over commercial floors with a design reminiscent of swirling currents.
