“I SPY” By GUS first graders First graders study the 5 senses as part of our

theme curriculum, “Who Am I?” Recently, first graders have been exploring their sense of sight. They have

learned all about how the eye works and as a fun project to culminate our study, created their own “I SPY” book to put their sense of sight to the test! They looked at some of the pages from the famous I SPY books written by Jean Marzollo with photographs by Walter Wick, and noticed what made it easier or more difficult to find an object. They then took to creating their own pages with items in our houses to challenge our classmates!
