Hamilton, Ontario, Selects Global Spectrum To Operate Venues

Springsteen Completes Cycle At Citizens Bank Park In Philadelphia

T

he Hamilton, ON, city council has unanimously selected the partnership of Global Spectrum and Live Nation as the new management team for Copps Coliseum and Hamilton Place.

“We view this new relationship with the City of Hamilton as a great opportunity for both Global Spectrum and Live Nation,” said Frank E. Russo, Jr., Global Spectrum’s Senior Vice President of Business Development. Copps Coliseum has a capacity of 19,000 for concerts and more than 17,000 for hockey. Featuring yearround concerts, dance performance, and live theatre, the 2,100-seat Hamilton Place is known for its gorgeous interior and spectacular acoustics, making it the ideal space to showcase any event. 

Carrie Jackson Named National Sales Director For Global Spectrum Carrie Jackson has been promoted to National Director of Sales for Global Spectrummanaged convention and conference centers, a key position in which she will be the conduit for increased convention, trade show, meeting, and exposition activities.

Global Spectrum To Manage and Operate Proposed New GTA Centre In Markham, Ontario, Canada W. Graeme Roustan, Chairman and CEO of GTA Sports and Entertainment, announced that Global Spectrum has been named the operator and manager of the proposed 20,000-seat GTA Centre in Markham. ON. Global Spectrum is the largest private venue management company in Canada. “Global Spectrum has an outstanding reputation in the sports and entertainment industry and is clearly the best company to manage the proposed facility,” said Roustan. “They do an excellent job managing other Ontario venues, including the nearby Budweiser Gardens (London), the GM Centre (Oshawa), the new Mattamy Athletic Centre at Ryerson University
