“Ministry of Foreign affairs submits written support and acknowledges the Global Leaders’ Summit 2013 as of great importance to youth in Serbia. We have made a great cooperation with our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which will ease the visa process for all our delegates. Our ministry welcomes all delegates of GLS and will help to prevent and overcome any possible obstacles for your arrivals. To make sure what will happen, we need to make sure to strictly follow all the steps so that we can ensure your arrival: 1. When you register for IPM, make sure to upload a good scanned copy of your passport so that we can make your invitation letter. When filling in the registration form, make sure to fill in the information for visa requirements. Just follow guidelines and please make sure that all your information is put in correctly with a scanned copy of your passport. Incomplete registrations will not be considered, and you will need to register again. 2. We will send a scanned copy of your invitation letter and the visa application form. 3.
Fill in the visa application form. You will receive it from you delegates’ servicing manager along with your invitation letter. You are applying for a type C visa (conference participation).
Visa Requirements
4. Contact the Serbian embassy in your country or the nearest embassy if you do not have one in your country to get a list of all the necessary documents for your visa application. To check whether there is a Serbian embassy in your country, follow this LINK. If there isn’t a Serbian embassy in your country, on the same link you will find where the closest embassy is, so you can apply for your visa there. 5. Prepare the rest of the required documentation that needs to be submitted. This is the list of documentation: Invitation letter sent by the CC team of GLS 2013 Visa Application Form that you should fill in, you will receive it from the CC team of GLS 2013 Photo (3,5 x 4,5 cm) Proof of residence (if you are not residing in your native country) 65 Euros payable to the Embassy of Serbia/ Consulate General of Serbia Make sure to contact the Serbian embassy in your country, or the closest one abroad, to double check whether any additional documentation is required. The embassies reserve the right to request extra documentation such as a return ticket or itinerary, proof of sufficient funds for staying in Serbia during the conference and so on. Also make sure to check the price for acquiring a visa, as the prices differ from country to country. Embassy contacts you can find on the following LINK.
Visa Requirments
6. You will have to submit your documents personally if you have an embassy in your country or send them by post express (e.g. DHL) to nearest embassy in a neighboring country. The delegates’ servicing manager who is in charge for your country will let you know what documents you will have to send. You won’t have to go to the embassy personally if you don’t have a Serbian embassy in the country you are currently residing in. Good news is that for sending the documents you will just need a photocopy of your passport, not your passport itself, and as soon as you get confirmation for visa then you will send your passport so they can stamp visa in it. We suggest you confirm this first with the Serbian embassy where you will be applying and with your delegates’ servicing manager. 7. Make sure to deliver all your information and documents in time so we won’t have any troubles for this process. Please contact your delegates’ servicing manager if there is any confusion or if you have any questions and they will update you with all necessary things.
Visa Requirements
Transit visas The delegates’ servicing manager responsible for you will provide you with suggestions for ways to travel to Serbia. For countries that require visas this is quite important. In case you are flying over some European visas you might be required to also apply for a transit visa for that country. As this can be tricky and so as to avoid any misunderstanding, make sure to communicate your travel plans with the manager responsible for you. They will provide you with information regarding transit visas for specific countries and options for you travels to Serbia, both through Schengen and non-Schengen countries.
Information about MCP elected delegates For countries applying for visas, we need to provide to our Ministry of Foreign Affairs names of all the delegates so that this information could be passed on to the Serbian embassies in your countries and so that the whole process would go much smoother. Therefore, we request that your MCP elects register as soon as possible after their elections so that we may send their information to the Ministry and Embassies and so they can apply for their visas on time. They will not be able to apply before we pass their information on.

There are many ways of reaching Serbia, such as: Airplane – Your final destination is the one and only airport in Belgrade called “Nikola Tesla”. Some of your transit airports might be: Frankfurt and Munich (Germany), Moscow (Russia), Istanbul (Turkey), Paris (France), Cairo (Egypt) and London (UK), Doha (Qatar). These are some of the biggest airports that connect with Belgrade. Speaking of airlines companies, you should consider these ones as most common for Belgrade: Lufthansa, Aeroflot, JAT airways, Turkish airways, Qatar Airways, Air France, Austrian airlines, Wizz Air, Nikki and Flydubai. NOTE: For countries that require visas to Serbia, we strongly recommended considering and booking connecting flights that go through the following countries: Moscow (Russia), Istanbul (Turkey), Cairo (Egypt) Tel Aviv (Isreal) and Doha (Qatar). Train station – Central Train Station. This option can be really convenient for neighboring countries because it is rather cheap and the trip is not that long. Our railroads are connected to these major cities in our area: Budapest (Hungary), Vienna (Austria), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Munich (Germany), Zagreb (Croatia), Bucharest (Romania), Thessaloniki (Greece), Istanbul (Turkey) and Podgorica (Montenegro). Bus – Central Bus Station. This is also a good option for European countries. Make sure if you try this one to find ticket with the least intermediate stations so your trip wouldn’t last too long. All major cities in Europe have direct buses to Serbia with few intermediate stops. Car – Since this is a rarer and bit more complicated option, please notify your delegates’ servicing manger about this so we can arrange it as well. This option could be convenient for neighboring countries such as: Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
