CURRICULUM The material in this guide is designed to supplement classroom training. Students should warm up properly before practicing. Techniques that require a partner should be executed with no contact unless supervised by an instructor.

SECTION II - ONE STEP FIGHTING TECHNIQUES 1 - 2 #1 - SHOULDER THROW SIDE KICK

Left foot steps out as you execute a right open hand outside body block

Grab wrist with right Right foot steps to Left arm extends past hand and right knee left foot, then left leg the far shoulder and hit to the mid section steps behind attackers move head under front leg into horse attackers arm stance and execute a left elbow hit to the body

Keeping lower body stable, push back with left side of the body as you hold on to attackers wrist with right hand

#2 - SKIPPING BACK SPIN KICK

Pivoting on left foot, turn to the right as you begin to execute a right leg spinning outside crescent block

Right leg outside crescent block

After block right leg steps back into kicking stance

Pivoting on left foot, begin to execute a left foot spinning round house kick to the knee

Jump off right foot Round house kick to attackers left knee and execute a jumping back spin kick Ki-hap


SECTION III - SELF DEFENSE - WRIST GRABS 3 Double wrist grab 3

Double wrist grab

With your right hand grab attackers right wrist

Step in with left foot as you move hands to the right

Turn to the right and step right leg behind attacker, arms should be raised above head

Continue turning and bend attackers arm near shoulder

Two hand wrist grab

Step in with your left foot as you grab attackers right wrist with your left hand

Turn back towards Apply pressure by attacker and place pulling arms down attackers elbow on Ki-hap top of your left shoulder

Take down Ki-hap

Cross wrist grab 3

Cross wrist grab

Left foot steps in as you grab attackers right wrist with your left hand

Lift arms as you begin to go under attackers arm, as you turn to your right side

Step behind attacker as you bend their arm

Keeping attackerÂ’s elbow on your shoulder apply pressure to attackers arm by pulling to the left Ki-hap

SECTION IV - FREE SPARRING: ALL GEAR SECTION V - BOARD BREAKING: TO BE ANNOUNCED AT TEST SECTION VI - PHILOSOPHY (WRITTEN) EXAM WILL BE ON COURTESY TEACHING EXAM ON FRONT STANCE

Once a student knows all of the material in this guide, they should pick up a test form to prepare for the philosophical (written) portion of the belt exam. Students may only test with the instructors permission.
