Destination • Explore the Dominican Republic, a Spanishspeaking Caribbean country known for its vibrant culture, gorgeous beaches, and colonial past. Begin in Santo Domingo, then head southwest to your host village. Take overnight trips to the Cordillera Central mountains, a pristine white-sand beach, and the Samaná Peninsula.

Projects • Work alongside community members to complete a series of cement foundations for local family homes. Plant an organic garden, shadow a larimar artisan, or teach English to children at the primary school.

Activities • Learn about Dominican history, swim in turquoise waters at a secluded beach, and enjoy an evening bonfire with friends. Ride horseback, hike to a hidden waterfall, whitewater raft in the Cordillera Central mountains, and snorkel in clear ocean waters off the Samaná Peninsula.
