From Coastal Villages to the City of Light

• Use your French to discuss masterpieces at the Louvre • Enjoy a pain au chocolat as you relax at a sidewalk café • Canoe to a Roman aqueduct with your host siblings • Go ziplining or rock climbing with professional guides

Destination • Begin in a charming seaside town in Normandy, then explore the magnificent cultural and historical sites of Paris before traveling to Montpellier for a homestay with a family in a community that has welcomed us for decades. Cap off your journey in an idyllic village on the sun-drenched Atlantic coast near Bordeaux.

Language Learning • Take a language pledge to speak in French and participate in field-based language lessons that are dynamic, fun, and designed to empower you to speak and live like a local. Visit markets and cafés, interview locals, and discuss works of art. Spend five days living with a local family and witness your language skills improve as you bond with your French sibling.

Activities • Immerse yourself in everyday French life. Traverse the island of Mont St. Michel, take a walk through history on the Normandy D-Day beaches, interview Parisians to find the city’s best chocolaterie, learn to surf with professionals, canoe under a Roman aqueduct with your French host siblings, and sail on a catamaran on the Atlantic.
