Destination • Begin in southern Vermont as you spend a night at the Putney Barn and lend a hand on a family-run farm. Camp in the Green Mountain National Forest, then continue north to kayak and swim as you quest for the perfect swimming hole. In Burlington, cycle along Lake Champlain with views of the Adirondacks.

Themes • Learn about cheesemaking, maple sugaring, and sustainable farming from local farmers. Learn how to milk a cow and harvest produce on the historic grounds of Shelburne Farms. Gain camping skills and shadow local artisans to tap into the culture of the Green Mountain State.

Activities • Hike sections of the Appalachian Trail and Vermont’s iconic Long Trail. Learn camping and navigational skills with guidance from your experienced leaders. Swim below the stunning Falls of Lana on the slopes of Mt. Moosalamoo, and make s’mores beside a campfire under the stars on the beautiful Pinnacle ridge in Putney.
