Destination • Travel to rural Rajasthan in India’s beautiful and arid northwest, and experience the cultural, historical, and ecological richness of this state. Explore the lakes and historic temples of Udaipur, known as the “City of Lakes," the lavish palaces and Mughal forts of Jaipur, and Bharatpur’s Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Cap your program with a visit to the iconic Taj Mahal.

Projects • Collaborate with community members on meaningful projects in your host village. Contribute to building projects or needed renovations at the local school or community center, and teach English to local children. Pursue individual internships with artisans, plant seedlings, or learn traditional music and dance.

Activities • Experience India’s traditions in temples and village ceremonies, participate in dance workshops, and explore the palaces and forts that dot the Rajasthani countryside. Visit New Delhi’s iconic sights, including the Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, or the soaring Qutab Minar tower. Peruse traditional crafts and local wares in one of Jaipur’s many bustling open-air markets.
