Our Berlin Campus • Berlin is home to a vibrant arts scene and some of the most important historic sites in Europe. From our centrally located residence, explore modern and historic Berlin, and learn the story of a city that has undergone a dramatic transformation in the three decades since the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Seminars • Choose two seminars—a major and a minor—and select from fascinating subjects that inspire you. Learn about Germany’s WWII history, delve into the politics of the European Union, and interview Germans about immigration. Practice speaking German during a cooking class, or investigate the contrasting architecture of East and West Germany. Cap off your studies with a final project or installation to share your work.
Afternoons & Excursions • Bike the path of the Berlin Wall, immerse your senses in the Turkish market at Maybachufer, then delve into automotive history at a classic car museum. Take day trips to the summer palace of Frederick the Great and the green mountains of Sachsiche Schweiz, and an overnight excursion to Dresden.
