Barcelona
• Photograph the colors of Barcelona’s Boquería market • Interview locals on a Spanish scavenger hunt • Check out the unique Catalán Modernista architecture • Step on the pitch at F.C. Barcelona’s Camp Nou Stadium
Our Barcelona Campus • Located in the hip Raval neighborhood, our campus is the perfect jumping-off point for discovering this fascinating city, renowned for its art, architecture, and rich Catalán history. Experience Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia, relax at Playa Barceloneta, and explore the lantern-lined streets of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter.
Seminars • Choose two seminars—a major and a minor—and select from fascinating subjects that inspire you. Learn about Catalán business and study Barcelona’s role in global markets. Create and sample classic Spanish dishes, meet with entrepreneurs to discuss their business ventures, interview Spanish teens about the Catalán music scene, or observe Barcelona’s fashion scene to influence the creation of your designs. Cap off your studies with a final project or installation to share your work.
Afternoons & Excursions • Take a chocolate-making workshop, bike through beautiful city parks, visit the Museo de Picasso or head to the beach for swimming and soccer. On weekends, travel to Castellar de n’Hug in the Pyrenees, visit the fishing village of Cadaqués, and see the surreal art of Salvador Dalí in his hometown of Figueres.
