Buzzword of the Month: non-tender 不換約台灣之光王建民在洋基不換約的情況下成了自由球員，關注建仔未來動向之餘，有哪些英文相關字是一定要知道的呢？一起來看看吧！

What does non-tender mean? 什麼是「不換約」？ Transactions and trades in the MLB are commonly completed during the winter offseason. A team may decide to renew a player’s contract or non-tender him based on his performance the previous season, or injury concerns. If the club decides not to retain the player, it will announce this before the non-tender deadline. He then becomes a free agent and is allowed to sign a contract with another ballclub. 美國職棒大聯盟的事務和球員交易通常在冬季休賽期間完成。球隊可能基於球員前季的表現或傷勢考量來決定和球員續約或不予以換約。如果球團決定不留住球員，則會在不換約截止日前宣布。該球員則成為自由球員，能和其他球團簽約。
