am so thankful our loving God does not give up on us when we mess up. I have failed Him many times in a plethora of ways, but He
continues to work in my life—molding me and making me into what He wants me to be. God could have thrown up His hands and given up on me a long time ago, but as the song says, “He’s still working on me....to make me what I need to be. It took Him just a week to make the moon and the stars, the sun and the Earth and Jupiter and Mars. How loving and patient He must be. ‘Cause He’s still working on me.” This song, written by Joel Hemphill, teaches the truth of Philippians 1:6: “And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” What you see when you look at me is not the finished product.
