distance you will need to travel to and from your venue when deciding on your type of transport. As you will no doubt be aware, there are many different forms of transport to choose from. Traditionally there are two cars required, one for the bride and father of the bride, and one for the mother of the bride and bridesmaids. The best man is charged with getting the Groom to the venue.

hoosing a wedding dress is probably
something you’ve been dreaming about long before your husband-to-be proposed. You may even know exactly what you want already, it is important however to keep an open mind. Before you go shopping, think about who to take with you. If you prefer to shop alone normally then remember that your wedding dress is probably the most important outfit you’ll ever buy and the opinion of a trusted friend could be invaluable. Your mum and your bridesmaids will be the obvious choice but try not to take too many people, everyone will probably have an opinion and it could get more confusing than ever! If you have no idea what style you want then it might be a good idea to look through magazines and websites and to go to wedding shows to perhaps give you a clearer idea of what you would like. Think about what your day will involve. Will you be able to move around as freely as you would like in a particular dress that you might like? Basic movements such as sitting and walking could be hampered with a wrong choice of dress, and don’t forget your wedding dance! Most of all remember it’s YOUR day, don’t rush your decision, it may at times be stressful, but will also be one of the most fun!

or any couple looking to book a photographer for
their big day, one of the first questions you need to ask yourself is what style of wedding photography you would like. Getting to know and getting on with your photographer of choice is important as you will be spending a lot of time with them on the day. Having that bond or connection with the photographer can put you at ease and the end results will be more relaxed and genuine. Professional video’s & DVD’S of your special day make great gifts to family and friends. Images last a lifetime so it’s always advisable to use professionals, don’t be tempted to let a friend capture your day, you may just regret it. you will opt for a sit down meal or a buffet. You will possibly need to take into account any special requirements for particular guests who may be vegetarian for example. In terms of the all important wedding cake, most of us imagine the traditional tiered fruitcake with white icing.
