A Dog's Purpose
GOWEEKLY 04 2017 HOROSCOPE
ARIES
March, 21 - April, 19 A copious amount of physical and mental energy could focus on psychic, metaphysical, or spiritual activities. You're feeling especially intuitive. You could almost read minds. One possible channel for all this energy is service to others, perhaps counseling or maybe even healing of some kind.
TAURUS
Famous Capricorn
Nahason Sanches Born: January 31, 1989
CAPRICORN
December, 22 - January, 19 You're likely to spend a lot of time in the car running errands and paying visits, perhaps related to projects. A number of phone calls might have to be made to friends or members of a group with which you're affiliated. This might involve sharing good news or exciting information that can lead to intriguing conversations.
WELLNESS As strong as you are spiritually, you must contend with issues of timidity in order to get what you want in this life. With the astral energy at play, you are granted a breather during which it is OK to meander a bit and wonder about things, a natural tendency with you. However, consider taking some classes at the gym like boxing, kick-boxing, or karate in order to increase your confidence and motivation. Play around at screaming and punching in the appropriate environment. Apart from releasing all that pent up energy, you could meet a new side of yourself! Incorporate your favorite scent into your bathing ritual!
2
April, 20 - May, 20 Social events and group activities are likely to take up most of your days. You could come into contact with so many people you may not be able to keep track of them all. Get contact information for all new acquaintances. You should experience a lot of intellectual stimulation.
GEMINI
May, 21 - June, 20 You might work a lot on writing these days. It might be your own or editing the work of others. You could find what you're doing exciting and stimulating. Phone calls to interesting people could also take place. The only caution is don't tire yourself out.
"Don't get carried away." LIBRA -
VIRGO
August, 23 - September, 22 You might spend hours on the phone possibly discussing opportunities to perform services for others. Your mental and physical energy should be high. You will want to use as many tools as you can to get whatever information you need, including books and the Internet.
LIBRA
September, 23 - October, 22 New, exciting opportunities to earn more money might come your way, perhaps through new fields. Colleagues could bring information. Your sense of adventure is high, so risks might seem more attractive than usual. Don't get carried away.
SCORPIO
October, 23 - November, 22 Friendships or love relationships formed today are rooted as much in intellectual compatibility as emotional attraction. Stimulating conversations could take place with old and new friends alike. Creative projects go well. If you've been looking for some information, you should find it soon.
SAGITTARIUS
November, 23 - December, 21 You could be so sensitive to others that you pick up on just about everything. Stay away from hospitals or police stations if you can. You might absorb everyone's pain. It's better to put this vibe to work spiritually or artistically.
AQUARIUS
June, 21 - July, 22 If you've been thinking of taking a long trip by air, this is the day to start planning it - or even leave, if you can work it in. Your excitement and anticipation are high, and your sense of adventure is at a peak.
January, 20 - February, 18 You might want to put one last burst of effort into a project, as this could make a big difference to your income and status. It could put you before the public in some way. Your physical energy is high and mental abilities especially sharp. Whatever you choose to work on will be accomplished quickly and skillfully.
LEO
PISCES
CANCER
July, 23 - August, 22 Paperwork regarding money might need attention as you could be planning to entertain visitors. These are apt to be exciting people bringing good news and interesting information. You might also expect a delivery of some new books or equipment, and this should contribute to the excitement.
February, 19 - March, 20 So many ideas are flooding your mind that you might have trouble sorting them out if you don't write them down. They could involve travel, education, group activities, writing, and publishing. You might want to discuss them with friends or members of a group to which you belong.

#KenRock?
Kim Kardashian wants to bring her Kimoji gear to stores! We will see shops all across the world selling them pretty soon. Kim's company filed docs asking to expand her famous Kimoji brand to include retail stores that would sell apparel, make-up bags, stickers, accessories and other items. Sources close to Kim says that the plans are in the early stages, but there's a good chance Kim's plan will include global pop-up shops to hawk the gear... just like Kanye did for his Yeezy clothing line and Kylie for her makeup line. The Kimoji brand has been insanely successful, but the gear has only been limited to online sales.

GOWEEKLY 04 2017 COVER STORY
Mizai Kobi (aka Toesi) is a 23 year old professional circus artist and aerialist born in Amsterdam but raised in Curaçao. She’s a resourceful and a dedicated performer who loves to captivate the audience with physically powerful techniques, compelling movements, elegance and charm. ‘’I know what I want and I’m determined to accomplish my goals.’’ Editor: Sendeliz Gibbes | Photography: Thareyck Martina
How did you jump-start your career as a circus artist and an aerialist? As a kid I saw circus shows on television and once in while live when they would come to Curaçao. I always thought that circus artists were super humans until I saw them during Carnival with local kids. Little did I know that one of those artists would become my classmate. She once invited me to train with them. On that day I managed to climb 8 meters in tissue (curtains) and learned my first tissue trick. I thought that if I can accomplish so much in one day, I can
8
also become a super human, and so I became eager to learn more. Taking circus classes at Danzarte studio became something I did regularly. I quickly realized that ‘being in the air’ was something I really like. After a few months training, I had the honor to tour and perform in the selection group of Danzarte artists. On tour we met so many other artists who did circus for a living, and at that moment a whole new world opened up for me. After finishing high school, I decided to do a bachelor in Circus arts at Codarts Rotterdam. And so I started doing circus professionally.
What is your favorite part about being a professional aerialist and circus artist? There are a lot of things I like about being a professional circus artist. It is a lifestyle you have to fully commit to, but if I have to choose one favorite thing that would be that it doesn’t feel like work, it is just something I do because I like it. It does get hard and exhausting sometimes but once I’m working, I forget all of this. It is pure joy.
COVER STORY GOWEEKLY 04 2017
"I do feel at risk all the time, which I think is very important as an aerialist" Tell us a bit about the process of creating an aerial show. What happens first for you? I get some ideas and I start searching for music. The moment I find the right music, the creation starts from zero. I forget the ideas I had and let the music speak for its self. I started as a dancer so I feel at home on the floor. I improvise on the floor with the music, I record myself. After that, I watch the recording and try to copy the same style in the air. I let it sink for a day or two, I write down the tricks I would like to use and then I start composing the act to the music.
Do you ever feel at risk during a performance? I do feel at risk all the time, which I think is very important as an aerialist. With feeling at risk I don’t mean being scared. I’m aware of everything that can go wrong and I try to be on top always. When you anticipate those factors, it reduce the scariness just enough to be able to fly and still enjoy it.
What has been your most exciting or memorable performance so far? I got the chance to perform with big names and amazing artists which is awesome and I felt honored to be able to do it. During the past years I grew so much and my mom hadn’t seen me perform live in a long time. In the Holland’s got talent show, she got the chance to see me perform live. My mom always supported my choice to be a circus artist even though she is scared to hell every time I’m in the air. I was so excited to perform for her as a gesture, thanking her for her support and that it all pays off.
What can we expect in 2017 from Mizai and what would be your ultimate goal as an aerialist/circus artist? In 2017 I’m adding one more discipline to my bag of tricks, which I will keep ‘a surprise’ for now. I’m ready to discover my limits and expand my field as an artist. My ultimate goal is to keep circus close to my heart and never lose the joy in it. And in the meantime, grow as much as possible and one day tour with Cirque du Soleil.
