March, 21 - April, 19 Know your limits—and respect them. Despite your superhuman abilities to pull things off in record time, the chaos could be too much, so reduce your speed and proceed with caution. Trying to mix too many oil-and-water types will backfire.
Popular Pisces
Dopie Keyz Born: March 17, 1984
April, 20 - May, 20 You’ll feel extra attractive during the next few weeks! That special glow is apt to be noticed. Take advantage of your magnetism and spend quality time with your significant other if you have one, book dates with someone you’re into or go out with friends and flirt more than usual.
GEMINI
May, 21 - June, 20 Let your passion lead the way. Dive into a plan for an entrepreneurial venture or a solo creative project. If you’ve been hiding your light under a proverbial bushel, take the lead. When you shine, you give others permission to do the same.
CANCER PISCES
February, 19 - March, 20 Been struggling with a family member or roommate? Take the high road. You don’t need to air all your grievances. Just let this person know how much she means to you and that you’d like to get your relationship back on track. Hug it out and move on!
LOVE An ex may resurface. If ‘doing stuffs’ with this ex will lead to another soul-crushing experience, you need to find a way to inure yourself to this person’s smoldering charms. The lust part is fine, but watch out for needless drama. In the moment, it might feel exciting to go diva, but think long and hard before you get in too deep. You need to pay extra attention to what you truly want AND what you’re feeling coerced into.
2
June, 21 - July, 22 You might be prone to self-pity or bouts of isolation. Before you start your splashy next chapter, you need to tie up loose ends, emotional and otherwise. Indulge in peace-inducing meditation sessions, yin yoga classes, and maybe even a good cry. Let it go, Cancer.
LEO
September, 23 - October, 22 Someone is either into you or they’re not, and you'll quickly lose interest in the players and half-hearted suitors. Your approach to love is grounded, which helps you be discerning about who deserves your precious affection. Know your worth! October, 23 - November, 22 You’re too busy diving into a detailed project or processing complex emotions. Seduction smolders under these sexy skies, and feelings can get intense. Carve out private time away from the crowds.

November, 23 - December, 21 Be cautious about what you post on social media or broadcast to the masses. Your thoughts could go viral, especially if they’re provocative. Under this erratic influence, so much is out of your control. News might arrive that shakes up the status quo and requires fast action.
July, 23 - August, 22 Relationships everywhere are tested, and people’s usual reserves of harmony go missing. For you, a budding romance could slow down or even fall apart. One minute you’re smoldering with come-hither desire, the next you’re ignoring texts and acting all aloof. Hello, confusion!
CAPRICORN
VIRGO
AQUARIUS
August, 23 - September, 22 You could feel overwhelmed by a million projects or be involved in one too many activities or obligations. Shut out the world a little (no guilt!), focus on self-care and enjoy downtime at home.
December, 22 - January, 19 Stress levels could rise, and you could scramble to put out multiple, simultaneous fires on the job. There’s so much to contend with here, as conversations could get heated. There’s no rule saying you have to find immediate solutions to everything. January, 20 - February, 18 A key relationship could change unexpectedly, demanding swift action. Stay adaptable to changing career conditions; they could materialize out of the ether. You might feel the urge to break free from an oppressive or financially draining situation.

The Face: Lineisy Montero Feliz
Fenty x Puma RTW Fall 2017
Lineisy Montero Feliz grew up in Santo Domingo, raised by her mother and grandmother along with two younger siblings.
Last season, Rihanna made her Paris Fashion Week debut with a collection inspired by "Marie Antoinette at the gym.’’
For F/W17, the collection (‘’Fenty University”) took design cues from traditional collegiate-wear but repurposed them for the modern streetwear aficionado. Droopy cable knit varsity sweaters featured haltered necklines and elongated sleeves, sporty polos were cropped and cut super tight, side-slit dress were fastened out of sweatpants and preppy plaids splashed their way onto nylon puffer coats and billowing parkas. There was something for every high school archetype. The footwear was especially striking, featuring a few new iterations of the Fenty Creeper, thigh-high wresting boots and suede stilettos.
4
‘I was super-nervous,’ she says when asked about her runway debut. ‘I started thinking, What if I faint? What if I fall over? It was all so new. The only thing I thought on the runway was, ‘Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalice.’ Her dark eyes and natural afro hair have ruled the catwalks of Alexander Wang, Givenchy, Prada, Miu Miu, Versace, Dior and more. Montero’s progress has definitely opened the door for others to adopt more natural styles on the catwalk. She is one of the most sought-after models in the industry, ‘Everyone asks for her,’ says Carine Roitfeld, who has also featured Montero in the CR Fashion Book.
Sources: glamourmagazine.co.uk, usmagazine.com
Her mother couldn’t even buy her shoes when she had to go to the audition. As a child, Lineisy dreamt of working in fashion (as a designer rather than a model). Scouted in an amusement park at the age of 14, she waited 4 years before her mother would allow her to sign with an international agency (NEXT Models agency).

Exhibition Isla Den Nos Bida Isla’s refinery is a big part of Curaçao. Though opinions vary about whether or not it should keep on existing, reality is that its existence had, and still has a huge influence on our island. Today, we can visit the exhibition ‘100 Aña Isla Den Nos Bida’ and learn all about the changes Curaçao faced the last 100 years. By: Shari Jourdain Where it started In 1915 Shell decided to build a refinery on Curaçao which went into labour 3 years later. The refinery turns oil subtracted from Venezuela into different kinds of fuel and gasses. This work provided lots of jobs but also new districts.
100 years later The refinery plays both a positive and negative role on the island. '100 Aña Isla Den Nos Bida' is the perfect moment for us to reflect on how we became the Curaçao of 2017. Specifically how the refinery contributed in shaping our society. I learned a lot by visiting this exhibition, and I am sure you will too!

COVER STORY GOWEEKLY 11 2017
He’s been in the music industry for almost 30 years now performing on world stages and has collaborated with so many groundbreaking artists, but the foundation for his musical career was laid on Curaçao where he was born. ‘I like to think that if I can make it in Curaçao, I can make it anywhere. I want to be known and make it here, because it's my people.’ Get to know the ‘man & his guitar’, Stanley Clementina, a multi-talented artist and proud YDK! Editor: Sendeliz Gibbes | Photography: Thareyck Martina
Stanley Clementina You've been in the music business for a while now, and you've turned your passion for music into a mission, to show that music is love. How did it all start? I started playing instruments in church when I was only 10 years old. At the age of 14, I started playing in a band. I remember that my uncle gave me a bass guitar, and a Gibi i Explosivos CD, and told me to go learn how to play the bass guitar. Uti Gregorio was the bass guitarist in the band at that time, and every day I tried to play like Uti. That's how I learned to play the bass guitar. I don't do anything without emotion. When
I play and sing, I get emotional, but I enjoy it. People can relate to what I sing and 'feel' what I'm singing. And we all share the same love..... Everything that I write is personal, I'm not faking it.....Everything is real.
Your trademark is; the ‘man and his guitar.’ How did this become your trademark? You play multiple instruments, why are you connected to the guitar the most? I've been playing the guitar since I was a child. I studied ‘Bass Gitaar Wereldmuziek’, and ‘Zang Pop’ at the Conservatory in Rotterdam. I was one of the few students that graduated with a dual degree, Singer Pop, and Bass Guitar
(Latin). I do play other instruments, such as the piano, percussion and drums but the guitar is my basic. It was my first love, next to singing.
You've accomplished a lot in your career as a singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist. What's your key to success? My key to success is feeling good about myself, and doing what I love. Devotion, discipline....the little things, like showing up on time, are very important. Besides that, the way that you treat people is very important. Just keep it real.

GOWEEKLY 11 2017 COVER STORY
You were in Curaçao for a few weeks. What did you do with regards to music in Curaçao? I went to Curaçao to promote my music. I collaborated with a few artists, like Ori, Dopie, and Dayo. Besides that, I shot 3 video clips, and gave a masterclass. I've always been a songwriter and producer for other artists, but I didn't push my own music and myself as an artist like others do. I've always done it for the love and passion that I have for music. I did a lot, but never got the recognition, so I decided that 2017 was going to be all about me. The only way for me to get the recognition that I deserve is for the people of Curaçao to get to know me. That's one of the reasons why I was in Curaçao. I once toured with Nelson Freitas, and saw
10
how 20,000+ people would sing along to all his songs. His mother tongue is almost the same as ours, and yet he's an internationally renowned artist. So I realized that if they can do it, so can we! That's why I went back to my roots, Afrobeat, and I created 'Kulpa mi numa'.
What's the story behind your latest single 'Kulpa mi numa' ft. Muisje Muis. Did you write it from personal experience? It focuses on a situation that I, and a lot of others have experienced in a relationship. When a couple is arguing, and both of them are wrong, it's always one of them that gets blamed. In this particular case, I said 'Kulpa mi numa', because this is heading nowhere fast. Point the finger at me, I'll take the blame.
Your upcoming Afro EP, when will it be released? And do you have more projects coming soon? The Afro EP will be released at the end of March or the beginning of April. I have several productions with Zurich Musiq also, and a few international gigs. The Afro EP consists of 9 to 10 songs, and I plan to release it internationally, so that people around the world get to experience our language and our music. I believe in my people, and their support. I like to think that if I can make it here, I can make it anywhere. I want to be known in Curaçao, I want to make it here, because it's my people.

A day without women
What would we do? Without the contributions of women, life would be less convenient, less evolved, and a lot less fun. In honor of the Women's History Month, we celebrate 5 female inventors, entrepreneurs, and creators who brought us groundbreaking innovations to daily necessities to fun guilty pleasures.
"Marion was tired of inding a soggy diaper and damp sheets"
WiFi WiFi wouldn't be possible without actress Hedy Lamarr, who grew bored of Hollywood and spent her time doing science experiments. During World War II, Hedy presented the US Navy with a patent on a spread-spectrum radio, which is seen as a precursor to today's WiFi.
Beer
Disposable diapers
Monopoly
Marion Donovan is the inventor of the first disposable diaper. Donovan was tired of coming into the nursery and finding a soggy diaper and damp sheets, so she set out to create a waterproof diaper.
The game was invented by a woman, but a man took the credit. Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Magie came up with the first version, patenting it in 1903, and 30 years later, Charles Darrow would take Magie's idea, tweaking it to be more similar to the Monopoly we know today.
Love sipping a cold beer on a hot day? Well, according to research by historian Jane Peyton, the earliest evidence of beer in Britain dates back thousands of years, when beer was made within the home and women were the primary brewers.
The Landlord's Game; the ďŹ rst version of Monopoly
Barbie Ruth and Elliot Handler founded Mattel Creations in 1945, and 14 years later, Ruth Handler gave the world the Barbie doll. The inspiration for Barbie came as Ruth watched her daughter Barbara playing with paper dolls. When asked her relationship to Barbie, Ruth simply replied, "I'm Barbie's mom".
